• New Petrol Price Hike
No Comments

Yes, we all will most probably know about the upcoming price hike for the coming new year which is 2008. Well, at least we’re spared on it this year. With the oil price increasing, I think it’s wise that it actually goes up. Not that we’ll be paying more, but I think the necessary bodies have tried to help in anyway they can.

Petrol Price

But then, the price increase might also affect the current economy, with pay as low and doesn’t go up according to the price hike, it really is a problem. Well, basically it’s not that I cannot take the new petrol price hike in the next coming year, but then I do hope that even the current salary would also commensurate with the price hike.

Well, in terms of petrol pricing, basically in Malaysia, it’s a controlled price in all petrol stations. Well, sometimes though it’s really fortunate to have some backing up by the government. After comparing with the petrol in the States, anyone can charge any price for the petrol. Well, you see, if you wanted to sell a bit more like 10 to 20 cents more, there isn’t an issue. But maybe lesser customers though.

Funny, but if this concept is implemented in Malaysia, I bet that there will be a monopoly of oil with people trying to make money from it. Then there will be conflict all over again. Have you ever wondered why is it that all oil or petrol industry owners are owned by certain people. Now get your thinking hats and start thinking!!!!

• Playing Backgammon
1 Comment

I still remember those times when I was a young child, every board game is a fun thing. Then my dad bought for me a paper board game, the only game that I am not sure how to play was the game with many Black and Red pointed tips. Hmm… I found out it’s called backgammon soon after.

Well, apparently I need to learn how to play backgammon these days with many people deem it as one of the interesting online game available. Well, then after looking through Backgammon Masters.com, wow… the game is available in 12 different languages, including Chinese.

With the game comprising of few different players from different countries, now this is what I call a challenge.

As of press release, backgammon Masters website is also available on the languages that the players are playing too. Now it’s pretty convenient if I have to say. There’s even a possible implementation of an interactive chat system to discuss strategies and rules with other players around the world.

Sad to say it’ll start with ENGLISH first, with more languages coming later. I am sure with this, more and more players from around the world will start to play.

I heard they are going to include Italian and Russian too. Now this can at least attract some Russian brunette. *Kidding*

Anyway, after checking through the site for a few guides, I am amazed at that there is even an interactive guide using Flash. So now I can start to play backgammon. Wheee~~~

• Apartment at The Curve

Apartment at the Curve? What the heck is that? What’s THE CURVE?

Yes, The Curve is a shopping megamall situated in Malaysia for those that don’t know about it. Apartment is a restaurant or a dining area where one can enjoy eating and sit at the area more like an apartment. Well, that’s why it’s call the Apartment.

Lemon Arrangement

So where is it located? How should I say it, it’s just situated beside TGIF. =P You know, I have to wait for at least an hour for the group of us to have our feast as there are many people waiting in queue and waiting too. After ordering the food it’s time to snap some various snap shots.

Ice Cream Fondue

Imagine having starters like dessert. Ice cream with hot hot chocolate. Though not as the fondue of Haagen Daaz. Well, at least though, this fondue is not bad from the looks of it. But who eats this? That’s for you to find out at the later part.

Chicken In Bag

OMG!!! Mouth watering chicken in the bag. Haha!! At first I thought it was beggar chicken until when open up, it’s really different. Well, something filling at least. But those are not what I ordered. What did I eat?? Well, you all know I really like to eat fish after the experience in eating Fish & Chips in Perth, so I of course ordered a fish dish. Here’s mine for the record!

Fish in Apartment

Though I must say the helping was a bit small. But what to do! This is Malaysia where people eat very little. :( Though I did finished the ulam type vege, which was served raw. Some people don’t like the bitter taste it gives but to me, any food is deemed delicious. Hehehehe!!

Finally who is the cutest person to eat that chocolate fondue, yes, louyea’s daughter is here to show us how one should eat their ice cream fondue.

Yee Ling eats Ice Cream

See, so good, the dad brings his daughter out to eat with us. So sweet!

• Is Liposuction Necessary
No Comments

Watching the media on the television seems like a norm these days with celebrities all going for a better look. Yes, there are those who go all the way to look like the celebrity they admire so much.

It’s now the time where people don’t really bother whether you’ve gone for plastic surgery, botox or even liposuction. Well, though there should be an ethical reason too to go for this procedure. Well, one perfect argument was, “I wanted to make myself beautiful!“.

Liposuction seems to one of the highly famous plastic procedure undergone by people especially females. Yes, well, everyone wanted themselves to be beautiful but sometimes it’s the excessive fats which doesn’t get out which needs help. That’s where liposuction comes into mind.

When looking for a good cosmetic surgery location, one of such note is MYA(Make Yourself Amazing) cosmetic surgery which was rated along with 2 other major cosmetic surgery companies. On a side note, when looking for cosmetic surgery, they try to minimize unwanted surgeries.

So ladies, if you wanted to change, I recommend one should consult first before giving it a go-ahead. I myself believe that it’s not wrong to make yourself beautiful, as long one doesn’t go over the limit.

• Weird Page Ranking
1 Comment

Yes, it’s the continuation of the Google Page Rank saga series. It amazes me that all because of a page ranking, it creates a lot of havoc. That’s why, when you’re at the top, you’re able to monopolize the market.

Anyway, why is it a weird page ranking. Yes, funny thing is that, blogs that do not get update overtime and time suddenly has their PR goes up to PR2, take for instance most blogspot blogs. Hmm… maybe it’s just me or maybe Google has rank them using on what is more PRO-google thus getting a higher Page Rank.

We already experienced the previous topsy turvy Page Rank update previously after lots of bloggers and site complained about the recent drop in PR which might lead to other sites that are linking another site to drop too.

Though I think minimum is set on blogger blogs that they can get PR2 with very inactive posts. I am not sure though, new algorithm is making everyone cracking their heads on how Google is practically ranking them. While it really does had an impact on my older site, I must say though that it’s also a blessing for this site, as it rose.

Well, many speculated that this could spell the end of the Page Ranking saga or rather something new will come out from this controversial page ranking. Who knows, what will be next? Alexa Ranking(spoilt), RSS Feed(abused) or unless one such other company, maybe Yahoo or MSN starts doing their own Page Rank application themselves too.

I guessed this page ranking thing will go on until maybe a month or just another week.
