• Baby Gathering Visitation

This is a once in a year visitation that’s being done annually. Well, it’s like a gathering of old friends from the day of college years up till now. Can’t believe it that it’s around 6 years since we all first had our gatherings in college times. Well, also many things have happened, even one of them, Yoke Lin was married and that’s why we’re paying a visit to her house. Her second child was borned somewhere this year (or maybe last year).

The baby boy was sleeping peacefully while we were visiting them. Haha… look how cute.

Didn’t on the flash. I am scared the baby will cry if I do that. Well, well, the pictures not that clear but you’ll see it better later. Well, of course being Chinese New Year that time, we also do a seasoned thing we always do each year, that’s right. Card games. BlackJack anyone. I think I lost money this year. Lucky these people are small players. Though I miss playing big.

• Skills of Camwhore

After all these years, blogging and all, something one learn as they go through their blogging life. One of the skills that I learnt was actually camwhoring. Well, if it wasn’t for ShoutOut community, I guessed I would still be blogging about daily life, work and jokes with nothing to do about some personal life and the mysterious weirdness in it.

Through blogging, I got to know other bloggers, and yes, it was astonishing to see how small the world it is for bloggers. Bloggers connect to each another and then you suddenly all feel like a small big family. People like MonkeyWong and CharlesKey relates themselves with Monkey. Hmm.. Wonder why monkey though, but then that doesn’t mean they can’t choose monkey. Hmm… let me try it.

OMG!!!

Errr… looks kinda weird to me. Don’t think it’ll suit me at all. Well, got that t-shirt while in Thailand, I guessed it’s the only body hugging t-shirt I ever had. Instead of a monkey, I chose the turtle as the trademark animal. Well, it doesn’t mean I am slow or anything, just that turtles are gentle creatures. Also they look great in green unlike some weird flag with green. Also diving adventures, getting to see a turtle while under the sea is a great scene.

Anyway, talking back about camwhore. It is not a necessity but it’s one of a few good thing to learn to do, so that one doesn’t really need someone else to take photos. I cannot imagine that there are indeed skills when holding a DSLR and camwhoring with it. The techniques of holding it horizontally and vertically. I must thank Hung Wei and Wendy for teaching me how to camwhore during my early days holding a compact camera and DSLR. Speaking of which, I used to find it weird for people to take pictures of themselves those days when I had my compact Casio Exilim Z750. Now suddenly that weirdness has instead been implemented into myself too, for instance, while stuck in jam going to office, shopping lots, travel, here comes the camera phone. *snap snap*

So wanna join in the camwhore craze, learn by taking photos, maybe visit some of the blogs on my blog links and it’s indeed hard when you have friends who doesn’t like photography. Well, I faced that situation when I was the only one with the camera and they all stared at me while I take photos of food, cars and including the self portrait. Weird, but it’s everywhere.

But this shot makes my face chubby a bit. Taken while in the Car!!

Wooden Shack that is still around after like 20++ years. Yes, this is the remains of an old shack in the village I used to visit every chinese new year. It houses village farm chickens. Lotsa memories there.

Nowadays, everyone lives in brick houses. Gone are those wooden houses days.

• Friendster Cafe Crab

It all happened during that day, February 14th 2008 ( woops…… maybe it’s 12th) . No no no.. didn’t go out for any date, it was a group gathering amongst shouters in Fatty Crab and also in Friendster Cafe. Well, one in PJ another in Damansara. Woo hoo… though I must say I regretted going to Fatty Crab earlier!! Not that I don’t want to, but I couldn’t with the jam killing me. ARGH!!!!

I arrived when they’re about to finish, so I was left with leftovers. Dang… I will go there again some day… and this time it’ll be my turn to evilly enjoy the food there. But just so that we don’t waste our time just sitting in Fatty Crab near Taman Megah, a few of us went to Friendster Cafe.

Yes, it was okay. I love almond nuts and anything with almond but but…. the above is not mine. Mine not that nice looking so I used the above photo. Actually I am stupid to not know what I drank. I guessed I shouldn’t write too much lengthy words but let the pictures do the talking.
