• Are You Happy Or Not
3 CommentsMost of you will know what I am going to say already, but then you will never guessed that after all these years (ehh.. wait only like 1 year plus) Nuffnang a.k.a NN is venturing further and further into creating more widgets for bloggers alike.
First they came up with the poll system which I hardly used due to the bug I had recently. Then now they came up with a Happy-O-Meter. O_o… Kinda interesting, I must say, well, it’s more like some rivalry to widgets like Twitter and Plurk. What’s this Happy-O-Meter, well, in order to view that, you need to check your Dashboard in your nuffnang Page.

I saw this thing, I knew something is going on. Well, I do monitor my Nuffnang statistics. So let’s play some Happy Meter.

Good thing about this, is that I can choose multiple color schemes. Well, there are many widgets out there that shows your mood only, but this one is good, it’s like a twitter mix with the mood thingy. Because my blog is so blueish in color, I am gonna opt for the blue one.

So have fun playing with this widget. If you wanna know more you can read this blog entry from Nuffnang. Right now I am super happy. Dang, I am hungry too, and hopefully Spain wins tonight.

June 30th, 2008• Beautiful Redang Sceneries
10 CommentsNot enough of Redang, the first part of the Redang crashing was more of the people that are in the trip. Well, it was at first hard to organize a trip such as this, but then looks like I enjoyed doing it. LOL…
If you missed the first part, here it is….
Redang Kalong Got Crashed
Well, I guessed enough of people in the photos, I want to see the sceneries and the sea there. What a better way to showcase it then to have it feature on this blog eh… Well, a lot of other photography I should also research. I am still not as good a photographer like those with high tech kits, but with a D40, I think that’ll do.

While walking on the Long Beach on course with the Laguna Redang Beach, here’s a scenery shot of the Redang Reef resort along the rocky ground with the sea overlooking it. Though it’s been like 4 years since I stayed in Laguna.
But what about Marine Park, the very famous natural reserve now being taken care by the marine park personnels. They really do keep check all their corals there too.

Though the amount of people there made me lost interest in snorkeling. But if you haven’t yet snorkel yet, do give it a try, the corals there are breathtaking. Those still clueless, Redang Island is situated on the East of Peninsular Malaysia around the lands of Terengganu.

June 28th, 2008• Bright Lights at Midnight
23 CommentsWhat a tired weekend last week, it feels time past by so fast and now it’s the weekends again. Well, to me time seems to past by so fast. Anyway this week’s theme was bright.
So this is my shot for this week’s Photo Hunter.

Can you believe this shot was shot at around midnight. Yes, and why is it bright? The little clue is just at the top of this photo. Can’t believe that it’s so good the night it was shot facing the sea of Redang Island during it’s low tide too.
Hope you enjoyed photo hunting as much as I do too.

June 27th, 2008• Redang Kalong Got Crashed
8 CommentsWould you believe it’s now already one week after the first day of Redang Island trip with fellow and friends and ShoutOuters. It was that long, it really is. Here am I sitting and pondering, what a wonderful time most of us had. Well, it was fun while it lasted, though I think I lost my cap to the bus, my shades to the sand, and my memories of the dive trip in my dive log book. Yes, REDANG ISLAND was fun.

The ones that went on this trip were ……
Guys : Aaron, Hugo, David, William, Satkuru, Lasker & Me
Girls : Wendy, Lee May, Lisa, Angeline & Elise
By the time we arrived, the sea was so blue from the reflections of the sky that such peacefulness could be felt within. Well, just looking at the above picture would tell you how clear the sea was. Yes, stayed in Redang Kalong, the same place I used to stay for the past 2 years. Seriously a good place for divers to visit.

June 27th, 2008• Crazy Webhosting Dilemmas
No Comments
You see, I’ve faced this common problem. I used to host my first blog on my own server or rather personal PC at home then I found out that I have timeout issues and bandwidth problems. Especially those that come in and said they are stuck and the webpage is not loading.
From then on, I decided enough is enough and moved onto a webhosting company to help me host my blog. Well, it really did saved me a lot of troubles managing the downtime and otherwise known technical issues. Especially I wouldn’t need to host on a Microsoft Server machine since I ain’t gonna use lots of Microsoft’s engine, let’s say .Net. Well, so finding the best web hosting is never going to be easy. Well, if there is a best web hosting service at all.
People like me, who is now in a financial burden after buying like lot of domains is going to face an issue too. With the limitation some of the servers giving me, I need a better dedicated server. Maybe try getting a web host that can allow multiple domains. One place I tried looking for comparisons of all the servers and hosting procedures was webhostinggeek.com. Nevertheless, I guessed it’s all personal preferences.
This ain’t your ordinary post. Well, after the downtime I had this morning, I was sure I am now on the verge of either hosting in other places, or rather giving it all up and finally move back to blogspot (though very high unlikely to do that, I love Wordpress). Anyone here able to help?
