Happy Weird Deepavali

Deepavali, a celebration for the Hindus, yes… usually every year without fail I would make this day to celebrate my Indian friends especially the one guy in Cheras who is my college friend. Well, come to think of it, this year there isn’t any.

Anyway to the people out there who celebrates Deepavali, here’s a Deepavali greeting.

Deepavali Greetings With Colored Rice

Yes, the picture above was taken in Pavillion Kuala Lumpur. It’s created using colored rice. Have a fun holidays everyone. 🙂

Additional Information : The colored rice, or refer to as kolam , traditionally, the woman of the house is responsible forcreating the kolam at home. The thing is, she has to sweep it away every evening, the next morning, she does it again. Well, basically based on my findings, this practice was done to test ones patience and acceptance. Well, I think if I were to do this kolam, I don’t think I have the patience to do it once again.

Edit : Yes, maymei, my mistake. Was only half awake. HAHA
