• Bukit Tabur PreTraining Hike
7 CommentsAlright, I agree I was kinda lazy these few days, but what can I do when I am still on a holiday mood when I was up and away to East Malaysia in Sabah. Well, I was there for 6 days, and there’s bound to be lotsa stuffs to talk about.
Climbing Mt Kinabalu was really tough but in order for me to get myself prepare for this gruesome climb, I need some pre-training hike and what a better place to do that than Bukit Tabur (Tabur Hill). Yes, if you’ve been following me, I think some of you have seen some snapshots of Tabur Hill but those pictures were like some kind of crap photos. But I assure you this time, it’s gonna rock.

Imagine looking from the cliff above and see like there’s two world’s apart. One on the right is civilization, another on the left is a lake . It was misty that day, so pictures are bound to be “mistified“.

April 27th, 2008• Train to be MCSE Certified
1 CommentLooks like I am back now and yes once again, I suddenly dread why is my holidays coming to an end. Anyway I guessed it’s time for me to carry on. Well, one thing though I am always clueless during my college years are what the heck are VOIP? Then I found out it was Voice Over IP (Internet Protocol) which finally created the IP phone. Now not to say I know nothing about it but my company is currently using this technology.
This brings to my view that I should start picking up all this knowledge. Well, what a better way than to first get a MCSE training to become a Microsoft Certified Engineer. Well, I actually did have plans to take one but now with my field in java, I doubt my company even want to pay for it. Nevertheless, I think it’s alright though, but I think it cost a lot to implement that IP phone.
Guessed it’s still a lot of things for me to learn. Oh ya… in case you’re not sure what is MCSE, it’s Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

April 27th, 2008• Funny Signboards
10 CommentsHaha… I am lucky I am still able to be back for this weekend’s photohunt. Yes, it’s time for some funny signboards that I am so going to put up this new photohunt pic from some of them taken during my latest adventure. Though I do need to explain a few of them as one of them is the country’s native language.

Went to Thailand years ago, and they ask me to take care my head. Not as funny, but maybe the translation from Thai is too direct O_o. Actually I can’t imagine if there are more signs from these countries. Well, if you understand Malay, you would probably understand the implications of the next signboard.

April 26th, 2008• .:. Stop And Stare ♥ .:.
2 CommentsGreetings everyone.
So, I guess another guest blogger has beaten me into blogging in this weird web portal eh? HEY popsikolaz!
Well, my name might be unfamiliar to most readers of this blog so here’s a somewhat… brief introduction (that is if I don’t get strayed off) of me.
So, HELLO again everyone! I’m SWei. A short form for my real name so you don’t actually have to know the rest and besides, it’s easier to remember AND easier to type when people chat with me online, typing “swei” rather than my whole long winded awesome Chinese name that is.
Before I go on my grandma stuff, here’s a hunky dory story on how I met Daniel! Here goes…!
Once upon a time, swei stumbled upon one of the greatest web creation ever- ShoutOut (kind of like a chatbox for all Malaysian bloggers- not like most of you don’t know about it eh? lol) and yeah, after hours of staring into the computer screen, added with some speed typing… She made a few lovely new friends! One of them is of course.. tadaaaa… DANIEL! Dan’s an awesome man, like seriously! Both of them added each other on MSN and after the mockery exchange of praises on Shakespeare’s language, they became kind of like a buddy and he gave the golden privilege to swei to guest blog in his blog when he’s away.
THE END!
Are you bored out of your mind now yet? If you are, sorry alright. I’m one who blogs like there’s no other day once I’ve started so excuse me for a bit.
Well, I think I’ve typed a lot for now. There’s too much weird things to add but I guess all of you are half dozing off now.
To the person sitting in front of this squarish screen now, wipe that salivary off your chin and close your mouth if it’s left hanging when you’re slowly going off to your lala land.
Yes, I’m DONE with my part of contributing the weirdness in here. And since I’m a huge fan of THE OC, I just have to make my mark here before you hit the ALT+ A4 tabs.
p.s: HMPH, boo this. My pink and purple fonts are not viewable once it’s published!

April 26th, 2008• goal the dream?
No Commentsmaciam writing all your dreams into one paper and throwing into a dustbin. after many throws sure will masuk once kan?
*laughs*
sorry. i am so lost between reality and dreams. dreams can turn into reality but sometimes with the harshness of reality, dreams remain as dreams. yes who doesn’t know this. yet how many take actions towards this. this is such a common topic but yet the debate goes strong thanks to all kinds of people who exist!!
i love people: D we make life interesting no?
anyway, sometimes i get confused between goals and dreams. i mean, goals are what you want to achieve in the end of the day. so if you place your dreams as “achievable goals” isn’t that the same? i mean if you define “i want to be immortal” as a goal. that is unachievable and thus it becomes a dream too right? okay that was ridiculous but i needed something extreme to prove it. *laughs* my friend said “well, bulat-chan. it is up to you how you want to define it is.”
-_- wth.
so now i am going to talk bout my dreams. since most people i assume actually do not really know their dreams/goals.
some people have just one. some have many. whether it happens in the end is a different story. like my jap teacher she has like gazillion and one. she never fails to amuse us with her
“go italy(or some country) to study at 40″*gasp*
“i want to be a singer at 50″ *GASP* the class went.
“ballroom dancer at 60″ *GASP again*
“world traveling at 70″ by now all half pengsan-_-
she said “one must have dreams to move on in life”
now i am gonna announce that
*one* of my dreams. one of them. i too have gazillion dreams since she made us make them *laughs* i thought i was gonna die during oral test the other week when she ask “so what’s your dream”
I am going to join Amazing Race. ROAR* << pretend it is in LARGE FONTS. i am HTML stupids-_-
*CEH*
what ceh!!!! it is really one of my ultimate dream/goal to get in and race!!!: D: D: D
i am feeling the adrenaline rush already!!!!!! Oh my God..!!! who is up to join me for next year’s intake?!!!
*puppy eyes*
