For the first time I am trying to pick up seriously on my Japanese. Well, in order to be able to continue learning and to be able to learn more languages and when the time is right, I might even pick up other languages in order to equip myself in the Japanese working industry.

Also to watch Japanese drama in their own languages.

This are the exercises that I am doing now. Unlike when I first started, now everything is in hiragana and katakana, which I took some time to get used to.

今日は日本語の試験です。大変大変難しい。。

今は日本語を勉強するんです。。。ぜんぜんわかりませんね。。

１）　このじしょは　いみを　しらべる　「のに」　つかいます。
２）　でんきを　けす　「のを」　わすれてしまいました。
３）　にほんから　ともだちが　きた　「ので」　KL を　あんあいします。
４）　日本語を　べんきょうする　「のは」　たのしいです。
５）　私は　おんがくを　きく　「のが」　すきです。

EX)　「ぜったいに ・　かならず　・　よく」 わすれないで　ください。

１）　まいにちえ　「すこしずつ ・　たまに　・　ちょうど」 あたらしい　ことばを　おぼえています。
２）　このつくえは　じょうずですから　「いつも　・　もうすぐ　・　いつまでも」 すかえると　おまいます。
３）　「このごろ ・　さっき　・　このあいだ」 からだの　ちょうしが　わるいですから　くすいを　のんでいます。
４）　すみません。　おかねを　かして　いただけませんか。　「しかし　・　それでは　・　じつは」 けさ　さいふを　おとしてしまったんです。
５）　「しっかり　・　まんいち ・　やっと」 つかいかたが　わからないばあいは　れんらくしてください。

EX)　３じに　KLCC　で　「あい」　ましょう。

１）　そとは　くらくて　いまにも　あめが　「ふり」　そうです。
２）　のみものが　たりませんから　ちょっと　ジュースを　「かって」　きます。
３）　にほんごで　てがみを　かいたんですが、　まちがいを　「なおして」　いただけませんか。
４）　２ねんまえ　しゃなのひとを　「しょうきいして」　くださいました。
５）　A: 　にほんおおちゃです。　どうぞ　「めしあがって」　ください。
B:　はい、　「いただきます」。
６）　このせつめいしょは　カタカナの　ことばが　おおいですから　「わかり」　にくいです。
７）　てんきよほうに　よると　あしたは　つよいかぜが　「ふく」　そうです。
８）　かちょうに　「ほめられ」　て　うれしかったです。
９）　きのう　おさけを　「のみ」　すきで　あたまが　いたいです。
１０）　きんえんは　たばこを　「すうな」　という　いみです。
１１）　にほんの　だいがくに　「はいる」　ために　いっしょうけんめい　べんきょうしています。
１２）　へんじが　ありませんから　だれも　「いない」　ようです。
１３）　A:　れいぞうこを　とどけて　もらいたいんですが。
B:　じゃ　すぐ　かかりのものに　「はいたつさせます」。
１４）　けさ　ペンキを　「ぬった」　ばかりですから　まだ　かわいていません。
１５）　さっき　たなかさん　から　てんわが　ありました。　かいぎの　しりょうを　FAX　で　「おくって」　くれ　と　いっていました。
１６）　A:　かぎは　みつかりましたか。
B:　いいえ、　いま　「さかしている」　ところです。
１７）　しろいシヤシは　「よごれ」　やすいですから、　かいません。
１８）　A:　もういちど　おなまえを　「おっしゃって」　くださうませんか。
B:　たなかと　「もうします」。

EX)　きのうは　あつかった です。

１）　しごとが　いそがしく て　どこも　いけません。
２）　こうつうじこ で　ひとが　しにました。
３）　パーテイーは　いつが　いい か　かんがえてください。
４）　かぞくの ために　いっしょうけんめい　はたらきます。
５）　このかばんは　かるくて　りょこう に　べんりです。
６）　そのはなしは　ほんとうかどう か　わかりません。
７）　このズボンは　なが すきですから　みじかくしてください。
８）　きかいのちょうしが　わるい ばあいは　私に　しらせてください。
９）　明日は　ひまな ので　うちで　そうじしたり　せんたくしたり　します。
１０）　なにを　たべているんですか。　とても　おいし そうですね。　わたしも　たべたいです。

１）　あなたが　日本語の　先生だったら　学生に　なにを　させませうか。　Please give your answers.
２）　にほんへ　いったら　なにを　してみたいですか。

Tips on how to speak in the Japanese Accent in Malaysia for the GUYS. We would use Ichitaka in this example.

Ichitaka just got broken hearted and felt like telling it out in Japanese, so he said…
はちくけちぇわ。 (Hatikukechewa)

With Ichitaka now broken hearted, he feels lonely, he felt that he has the urge to go mess around with chicks. But I guessed he went overboard with it.
まりくらば。 (Marikuraba)

Now girls would branded him as dirty minded. Wondering why he said such things and how come he got such a title. Thinking over it, Ichitaka finds it hard to believe. He was then remorseful in Japanese.
おたくこと。 (Otakukoto)

Then out of nowhere you a girl in distant appeared. From afar she looks decent. Then she came close and then noticed something was amiss. She kept saying herself in Japanese.
ててくらた。 (Tetekurata)

It looks like she is seeking attention and she is longing to have someone to have fun with her. Hmm….. Strange enough, understanding her lingo off,  a pickup line was issued.
まうかしか。 (Maukasika)

She loves the way it advances and finds the way Ichitaka says it a bit cute. Ichitaka then decided that he wanted to pursue the matter even further. He grew horns on his head (horny la…) and finally the ultimate.
まうまいんか。 (Maumainka)

Now who says learning Japanese is not fun? I am sure Ichitaka had fun.

It’s time to see how did the Bon Odori festival 2010 held in Shah Alam went by. Well, this post actually continued from my last post, where I was at the BlupBlup event and the reason I left early was to get my ass over to Shah Alam at Matsushita Sports Complex to find a proper parking space and to attend this event.

Bon Odori is once a year and this will be my first time attending Bon Odori in KL area. My previous Bon Odori which was like 4 years back was in Penang in 2007. Time flies, and that was the time when i first met the group from Penang.

Here was what happened. After the event, I went straight to the Bon Odori festival and got this fan for keepsake. Not bad, a souvenir to bring back. Chin Ann tagged along.

Greeted with the fact that there are many girls and guys here in Japanese costume. Like the above, the girls are dressed in Yukata, though I ain’t sure if they were Japanese though. As it was a Japanese festival, my first thing that came to mind is, ahhhhh FOOD. Too bad I didn’t get anything much that day as I was broke. Only had RM20 in my wallet, I could only afford this.

At least my stomach need to eat first before we carry on exploring the whole place. Then there was a sign board which was promoting Japanese tourism. There was even a model there for anyone who wanted to take photos or take together photos.

Of course, I don’t think that she is Japanese. People though have been saying I look more Japanese, so what happened if I were to stand side by side. That’s what I did.

I would have updated my blog by now, but these few days have been really busy for me. With a Japanese exam lurking in the midst, I can only post this much. Though my mind is now filled with lots of Japanese words, and trying for the first time to really study for exam.

Yes, I used to not study that much in my days as other stuffs can just be played with words but not Japanese. So here’s to motivate myself and to learn some katakana. My hiragana is okay, but my Katakana is no where perfect. I don’t even know how to write certain letters.

Here’s what I am learning at the beginning of the chapter now.

日本語を話すのは難しいです。 – のは form
私はえをみるのがすきです。 – のが form
かぎをかけるのを忘れます。 – のを form

Complicated right?

Everyone please pray for me or wish me luck for tomorrow’s exam yeah? Then I shall see whether I should proceed to Advance Class or not!

Yes, so I finally received the photos and this time, it was finally the end of one such fun class. Yes, funny as it seems, it’s how someone like me go learning stuffs such as Japanese, but why learn Japanese, maybe it’s because it’s just interest.

But at least now that I have finished my Japanese lesson for beginner one, it still doesn’t make me fluent in Japanese. I still have many more classes to go. Ehh, wait, why the heck am I talking about my Japanese. No no no.. okay, and this has got nothing to do with my Takeshi impersonation. Though last time I did have a Japanese friend during my high school years.

I think the motivation that time was to learn Japanese to talk to Japanese girls that will look like Kyoko Fukada, Aoi Sora hehehe… and also when I actually watched a Japanese drama, I will know what they were talking about.

So finally after what seems awhile. It’s done for Beginner 1, and the starting of Beginner 2. But this photo is for you guys in Class B1-668. A photo to remember our time together, though some of you have already stopped learning.

Thank you おおしろうせんせい (Oshiro sensei) for teaching us. Ehh.. I think I look the most Japanese up in this photo. What the heck.. (minus the Japanese teacher)
