Beautiful Night Lake

Posted by danielctw On August - 30 - 2008

Recently I have been following different groups of people for photo shooting events. With the latest one, on the Fireworks competition held in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Well, come to think of it, I am not going to showcase any fireworks instead as it will just be another firework shot.

I prefer sceneries, dark as it may seem, but with lights, the lake seems so alive and beautiful.

Beautiful Lake

That place is beautiful and I actually gone there again today to get a close up glimpse of the bridge structure there. Also the Finale of the Fireworks competition is tonight.

Just in case I missed it, 31st August is Malaysia’s Independence Day. Have a great weekend everyone while I now get to sleep to wake up for tomorrow’s Hill Walking Hike.

Recent Failed Web Hostings

Posted by danielctw On August - 28 - 2008

Hmm… wonder how it feels like, to see your website going down and suddenly , you have a page error, please contact your website administrator. Or an Error 404 page. Haha.. I think you guys/gals know what I am talking about, especially Satkuru who just recently had a problem with his domain hosting.

Well, sometimes it’s the mistake of the customer themselves but it can also be the fault of the webhoster themselves too. So what should be done? Duh… of course you go for a better web hosting service, the problem though is money.

Like most people say, “You need to spend more to get better services” . How true is that depends on what you are talking about too. I am talking in the sense of how good is your web hosting rating? Well, not like that there are no places to recommend to host, but because today I am in a very weird mood, I think I shall help you people out who is looking for a good hosting site. *bleks* Please donate to me paypal after this…

But why rush?? If you call your website, I sucksathosting.com, then don’t bother asking me to help you. Then I think you better start reading the guidelines to choosing a domain name. Yes, it’s that important okay.. Imagine if you http address is iamwantanfffgggh.com, you’ll think I’ll be attracted to this kind of site?

Hmmm.. maybe I would for my peculiar weirdness, but seriously who else would. :P Oh ya speaking of which, just in case you not sure what site I am talking about, http://webhostingrating.com has all the plans and I just saw one bloody darn cheap package going for $3.96 per month. Seriously darn cheap, now I felt like changing my hosting package. Just need 1 more year though.

11:23pm and I am still awake, I should go to sleep or probably go for supper. Where are my photo posts?? Coming right up.

Stay In Jungle Is It

Posted by danielctw On August - 27 - 2008

My friend who stays in other states of the country, they alwaystell me this,

“You’re staying in Kuala Lumpur, that place sure hot like hell, my friends always complain here hot and even in the night is like an oven if you don’t on aircond. No wonder you all expenses so high.”

Aha…. though somehow I proved them wrong. Well, that’s because I stay beside the jungle, or rather a forest reserve. There’s even a river flowing from where I stay. Now somehow they always perceive I stay in those “sang ka lang” (primitive) area. What’s with the mindset la… when I say Kuala Lumpur they think big cities, now when I say forest reserve area, they say I stay in houses on trees.

Don’t matter, well actually right, I cannot blame them when I always show them these kind of photos. What photos? These creature photos that seems to cling on my house wall and I wonder why they love the walls on my house?

Weird Bee On Wall

The bee that somehow loves to stick around the corner of the wall, A solitary one, look at the nectar thingy on their thorax part.

Weird Moth on Wall

Sometimes it’s good to shoot shoot around and then poof u see a moth on the wall, a moth so big, as big as your palm. Weird moth in the house, and on the wall again.

Weird Spider on the Wall

A funny weird spider on the wall, smaller than my little finger and yellow in color. Wooots… actually this is the first time I see this spider around. It has lot of hairs around it, seems like it needs it to stick to the wall.

Now tell me how can they not say I stay near the jungle or in the jungle in that sense. Looks like it’s time to makeshift my time and at least tell them, I live together with nature and I am one with nature.

*sweat* Suddenly I realised what the heck am I talking about, I guessed maybe because it’s way past midnight and I guessed I need my sleep.

*snores* *poof*

Permatang Pauh Runway to By-Elections

Posted by danielctw On August - 25 - 2008

First I want to rant, why oh why is it that where I am now is not having a holiday. No public holiday… NOOOO… and the hoo haass all in Permatang Pauh for the By-Election.

Another side note though, it’s not necessarily a compulsory public holiday for all though, as mentioned by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib.

Najib 3D Glasses

Najib 3D Glasses

Quote from NST Online

“If it was for the people to come out and vote, then the private sector employees or factory workers could have been given one or two hours to exercise their right before returning to work.” – Najib

Now now now, though there are actually certain companies not observing the holiday because they need to service clients from around the globe and country and in a way it’s true too. Imagine a backlog for those not working. But let’s just say the hype about this by-election is more of actually putting Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim back into the parliament and the Dacing is trying it’s very best to prevent that from happening. With the Penang an opposition stronghold, it’ll be a task of a battle for the Barisan Nasional to wrest the seat out from the latter.

Though after a brief walkthrough background of who is going to contest the seat in Permatang Pauh under the Barisan Nasional, one must not write off Ariff Shah. Well, seemingly unknown until now (not really unknown, just that not as outspoken as others), he seems to be doing a great job going village after village. Funny though, that was what the opposition used to do in Penang years ago.

Peh Moh Ariff Shah

A man (known as Peh Moh) with the capability to speak Hokkien which is the native Chinese voters here who speak that dialect really is one of the many points. Unlike other politicians from the fray, the capability to have the first hand discussion with the public due to his master of language of both Mandarin and Hokkien helps the Chinese there to convey messages to him. Permatang Pauh though has a majority of Malay settlements and this is where the makeshift of the power struggle for Ariff Shah to convey over. Well, all in all the votes of the chinese there would be crucial to a point too.

The Makeshift Balance

Now the only thing if BN were to lose the seat, they should actually try to reduce the deficit loss they suffered during the General Election.

Another key point is the establishment of another party which could actually rocked apart the votes and practically bring some individual support out of the competition.

Prediction

A win for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would be imminent for his grass roots in the contested seat. Though, sometimes it’s hard to predict the outcome of Malaysia’s politic saga with a vote can just downturn and go into another way. Malaysia Politics is never what it was, and I expect a good fight tomorrow.

Nevertheless, the only thing I am fuming about now is, Why am I getting no HOLIDAY??? ROARS!!!

Wrinkles Once Uncle Stage

Posted by danielctw On August - 23 - 2008

Hmm.. this is so going to be a funny post. Well, just when I couldn’t find a picture for this week’s theme, which is wrinkle, I was looking through my photo archives and guess what, there’s a photo out there for me to use.

What better way to even tell a story. Everyone of us are young, and to top it off we all do our best to try to remain young and youthful whenever we can once we reached a certain age. I still remember when I was 5 years old, I can’t wait to grow up to go out on my own, but then now the feeling is not to let yourself old.

Such funny minds we have. Yes, anyway here’s someone’s photo.

Wrinkles

Heee.. someone has already had the wrinkles around. Shhh… suits the theme but I might get strangled by him. Runzzzz…..
