• Regret Not for Wanting Not
6 Comments| I’ve Known You For So Long Suddenly Feeling No Where To Belong Lost that Feeling When You Came Along I guessed it’s Farewell All Day Long |
You know, I have a hefty scenario here, which I would think might interest a few people here. Well, it’s time for me to talk about relationships again. haaa… you didn’t know it? I love to blog about this topic and try to get public’s thought about it. Besides it’s fun to learn and share with each another.
Well, I am sure some of you have this predicament during those years, that either you’ve made a slow decision or one waited too long.. Still don’t get it, basically one regrets and looks back at the time if only I had made the move, then I wouldn’t have to sit and think back all the time one wasted during those years. This is one I heard from someone during my college years. This is what she said when I finally messaged her through ICQ (yeah.. I live in the ICQ age).
“How come now only you’ve contacted me? If only you were that bold last time!!”
Okay.. I was sweating. Imagine this, I actually did fall for her during high school years, but those days.. I was never meant to pursue in a relationship. In a way, this experience has given me a little bit impression of how important it is to be bold in one’s decision. Sadly, sometimes it doesn’t always work and listening to what one had learn previously.
Since I am so nice this time, how about I give you a scenario. Debate if you like, but I would like to hear your opinions.
A guy (let’s call him Jim) was someone who had a fun single life. Though one day, he met someone who he fell for which was a girl , (call her Eve). Both of them met in a group gathering, (which usually how it all started) and slowly Jim developed feelings for Eve. But you see, Jim had trouble approaching until one fine day he decided enough is enough.. he will approach her and tell Eve how he felt. (“happy right??”)
The story doesn’t end here though. Just when he thought the day was right, Jim had it all planned out to go meet Eve the following week, he was shocked to hear someone came ahead of him a few days earlier and that person is together with Eve. Okay… Jim was suddenly feeling all awkward and all plans failed.
So now, the question to you guys/gals. What should Jim do???
Fuhhhhh… finally wrote something longer. Oh yeah… if you wanted it to be more dramatic and just love to put me in the scenario, then just substitute Jim with me and Eve with Jolin
HAHAAHHAA!!! Fake OK!!

February 19th, 2008• Chinese New Year Memory
2 CommentsChinese New Year is coming to it’s final week, and I have to talked about my Chinese New Year. Yes I was in Malacca as most of you know and I had a bit fun with my D40 and go snapping around. Well, seemingly that I go back to Malacca, the language that was mainly spoken there was Baba Malay amongst my relatives. Basically my dad’s cousins and uncles and aunties. Well, yes, I speak Malay when I am back in Melaka, though the newer generations all starting to speak Mandarin O.o

But then coming from a baba nyonya family has it’s advantages. We have nyonya food, traditional type. Even dodol was hand made. Dodol is a special kind of food which takes hours to make one. Well, I prefer hand made type, as it’s stirred and stirred for hours, so that the mixture doesn’t dry up.

Dodol, one of the traditional food that I love to eat. Well, another one is Wajid, but this year don’t have any. There are also Itik Tim (duck soup with Brandy) and lotsa Rendang (spice dry curry chicken/beef) to name a few. Well, if I were to bring KL-ians along with me to Malacca, I guessed most of them will be shocked to hear that it’s a Malay speaking Chinese community in Malacca, and also we have chinese families making Ketupat.

February 18th, 2008• PhotoHunt 96 Free
3 CommentsAnother round of photohunt, when people talk about FREE, the one thing in my mind is how free it is to run about, having a carefree life. When you have a care free life, run about. When I visited my god sister in Perth, I was witnessing a so called free life.

I wished I was free like that too.

February 17th, 2008• Google Glitch PR0
6 CommentsAfter like a few months, all of a sudden, I checked my Google PageRank and guessed what, my PR was 0. What the heck?? It happened right after Valentines, and I was like, “Thank YOU Google for doing something weird and not even logical at all”.
In the case of a big Internet ‘God’, you can do all you want, but reading some of the other entries on other blogs, google might do that to stop competition as maybe one day they feared that they will be taken of the road. If google continues this way, everyone will start to treat Google Page Rank as something unimportant and I am sure people will start to rely on Alexa Ranking and also RealRank.
I am also immortalised at certain sites which have no contents but lotsa google adsense ads running but have PR3. Now this is crappy, I wonder how good a content should be to qualify for a PR3 rank. I guessed their algorithm still has a long way to go. If this goes on, I am so gonna pro-Yahoo back again as the preferred search engine.
For now, I can just hope it was a glitch at my site, as when I check my pagerank to some of the datacentres, I also got PR7, which is really really weird. So Google, could you look into this matter, if you wanted to give me PR7, dun frighten me. Thanks a lot.

February 16th, 2008• Valentino Are You
8 Comments
Short Talk
Here is my most classic sms reply I got from someone!!!!
-_-
So are you a Valentino? In light of the coming Valentines Day which are usually looked upon as something so treasured and kinda sacred amongst lovers and couples. I’ve even heard of singles complaining that they feel so lonely during this time. Here’s my point of view for the singles.
You saved money on a day which someone created! Well, it’s common knowledge that most couples tries to have a perfect celebration on this day, and to me is the day where someone can make use of the guy (especially young couples) and approach him and ask him this, “Care to buy a lovely rose for your girl?” With the ego and thick skin, I am sure that person selling the rose, candy, bear bear will make a hefty fortune just on one day.

I prefer celebrating on days which no one else celebrate on the same day. Too many people is a crowd and getting a place to eat is a race. All the fancy restaurants are booked. I’ve got a few friends who are smarter, they celebrate the day before or the day after. It’s better that way I guessed. Why create the uneasiness in trying to impressed only on that day.
Here’s a quote from one couple regarding this Valentine’s Day!

Daniel : What are your thoughts of Valentines Day?
Guy : To me Valentine’s Day is just a self made day in order for your love ones to be remembered. We wouldn’t need Valentines Day if couples know how to treasure each another on every other day. To me, everyday should be like a Valentines Day, you treasure your love one everyday and not just for that special occasion.
Now I was immobilized when I heard that, but then seemingly, it really strike me as to how this couple of aged 60++ years can really think of it in a different tune. Okay, maybe it’s the mindset. But then nevertheless, singles, if you’re trying to impress the girl or guy you love, maybe it is also a good day to be open about it, since it’s the day where you’ve(guys especially) got very good opportunity to express your feelings towards your date partner.

Friends Are Always There!!
Anyway call me old-stylo but I guessed my opinions differ in certain ways. You can share your opinions about this promiscuous day if you like to though. As for me, I’ll go enjoy my singlehood for now.
Anyway Happy Valentines Day…..
