There are times we look upon our past endeavors, relishing our old self and wonder what have we done for the past years. As we Journey on our life on Earth, we find ourselves thinking did we do good or did we finished what we all started? Sometimes questions like this goes into one’s mind and unknowingly, you don’t really know what to do.

Once awhile while listening to the sweet sounds of birds chirping in the air when you wake up early in the morning, you’ll wonder. Why is the day so beautiful? If only it could last longer and melodies of ones life is as sweet as a birds song.

For until it all, there are many things to think about, for we as humans are never satisfy with what we have and always wanted more. Some call it unwanted wants, while the most appropriate word would be greediness. It dawned upon me, that after going through life as a child, a kid, a teenager, a young adult, that as time goes by, responsibilities start pouring in no matter whether one likes it or not.

As a child, all we ever wanted was to play and get to meet our friends in school. Problem then was we all have to face our exams in school. Same goes to while we’re teenagers, undergoing puberty, learning to accept that the opposite sex that we once roughed together is seemingly different and attractive to the eye.

As time goes by, we go into college, universities, polytechnic to ensure we have a build up to our career. Sometimes regretting what we did during our studies, we don’t get to be what we wanted to be like our ambition back then. As time goes by, minds start to mature. People see things in a different way. There are still fun and games like how it used to be, but fun is now derived simply with a means for getting back our childhood memories.

Aside from just fun and games, people will start to think how to

- manage their finances
- the problems each family faces (when parents get old or did I earn enough to help finance the house)
- relationship (is she/he the one whom I am looking for, what if… )
- work (What will my future hold if I am still in this job? What will it be like if I am 30 and fresh graduates come out and the skill I am having now is just the same like them)
- future endeavors (can I get a nice home to stay with, will I be able to support my children, should I quit this job for the sake of my love ones). There are like it seem more things to think about as time goes by.

One can be wacky, one can do a lot of things and live to not regret it. While after all, we only have one life to live and so live your life to the fullest. Is not everyday we’re 16 or 21 or 50 or 80. It’s only a year once.

It’s to this point, sometimes simple thoughts are not just enough to constitute the magnitude of the complications of getting older. It scares me, the writer of this column too to know that I too am getting older as we see the years go by like a twinkling of an eye. For each passing day, things change, technology change. As technology changes, demands of better work quality are more as expectations are higher.

So think about it. If life could be simple, there won’t be so much heartache. It is as if there’s a way to sleep it all away. Though there’s no way we can put off technology in our life. Without technology there’s no Internet, there’s no way to communicate with other parts of the world instantly. Though with technology, gone are the ways of the old tradition. Snail mails are getting obsolete, live plays are not as enthusiastic as it used to be (people who do attend these plays expect more) and lots of new methodologies are incorporated.

Is like the saying, “when the old don’t go, the new won’t come.” Same like when you’re working in the office, if your seniors won’t go and leave the place, say bye bye to promotion. Typical IT job and world out there.

So this time I shall say bye bye to my old and trusty Samsung phone, the D510 model which has served me for over 3 years. Yes, there are people who uses the same mobile for more than a year and that person is me. I am never into trends. Maybe that’s why my fashion sense failed.

So welcome to my latest gadget. The HTC Hero.

Finally, I’ve gotten myself a “SMART PHONE” which I was dying to get since like a year ago. The thing is, once I got this HTC HERO, I have to charge the batteries the first day and that took me 8 hours. (Yup, the HTC Hero doesn’t come with pre-charged batteries) So I waited and waited and decided to just take a weird shot of it.

So this calls for micro blog to be activated. I can now blog on the go and blog even when I am in places not around my office or my home. Some possible places are like the toilet. Hohoho.. More or less, it’s a useful tool when I am traveling around.

Now don’t I wished I had the Hero before I left for Tibet. There would be more micro-blogging instead. Darn…..

I just realized I am not saving like I used to. Looks like it’s time for me to ponder and maybe don’t go for any other trips and DSLR poison for the coming months and days.

So no more lending money already, I shall start to collect back in these coming days. Not going to go out too often too. Seems like I am suffering. Maybe I am, maybe I am not. So I guessed it’s back to the drawing board as I try to make my personal blog hit the top rank in order to support my expensive hobbies and escapades.

Just back home after a grueling tired badminton match and also a late dinner. I am so not fit as I used to be. Haven’t been writing this kind of entry for awhile. Some people love to read this kind of entries as it portrays originality and also they love to know what is happening in one’s life. Though some say it’s too boring. So in a dilemma, I shall solve this by putting a small section of what I thought in the small talk. Parents also back from Langkawi, finally some order in the house.

Found out paying bills the hard way, as all of a sudden income depletes faster this month. Wonder why?

Small Talk
For those that don’t know about it, I’m also the founder for TechieDan.com which writes about my technical view on certain issues.

The day is near, the weekend is about to arrive, but never have that effect been discussed. Yeah, I am not talking about the day. Here’s some things to ponder about. Some stuffs some people should know about the general sex or gender of this world. Transgender though is another topic altogether, so don’t let me go there first, maybe next time.

Guys will mainly be guys and girls will usually be girls. (duh… that’s so factual) but let’s face it, let’s discuss it based on how one gender would react to certain situations and how the opposite gender will respond in another way. Here’s some obvious simulation.

When guys get into a competition, they compete where when there is one victor the loser backs out usually. It’s like when I win, I win, when I lose, I lose. The most also ask for a rematch. Well, the drive of competition is strong within guys.

Now girls in a competition, they don’t have that competitive feeling after a match. Though they will forever remember that opposition for beating them.

Some guys can kiss and make up, well not all can though

So put it in a more practical way, guys don’t usually bothered about petty stuffs and things which they can just put it behind as long they get the reward after it, let’s say a feast after that. While girls care for stuffs which guys think are just something normal that occurred amongst themselves. So before you start telling me I am wrong or something, observe this scenario.

A guy says he has no worries if another guy he knows for quite awhile suddenly talk bad about him, cause he can’t be bothered about it at all. Why bother stuffs that are like that? So very unmanly like. But as always girls (mostly) or since I am using guys might as well use ladies… they tend to remember that and start trying to bad mouth back or simply just can’t forget.

In short guys have tendency to forgive without accepting any apology while girls will have the feeling otherwise. Now tell me, I am sure lots of you people out there know why I implied this.

Many people may agree with me or disagree, but since I am a guy I just love feedbacks but any bad mouthing of my article, I just treat it like a gust of wind. It’s a guys attitude, so you want to say something bad, you can do it on the comments page, like what some people did on my previous post on the emo thingy. So whatever I write at least is something general. Oh, but it’s so gay when you see female bloggers writing some stuffs that they think is correct and pouring out their thoughts, but when you comment something about it, saying they’re not right and stuffs, they go all out to prove you’re wrong. I find it a tad bit childish. Is like they have one kind of reputation they need to protect.

Now here we go on to males are simple beings while female are complicated beings. Here is just a simple analogy of what guys do and think while girls do and think. So if you want to say your thoughts, why not write it down below. I might miss out a lot. Please be constructive when you post, or your comments will be ignored by me.

Guys will be guys and girls will be girls. No matter how different one looks and how different they are from their own same genus and species, the traits are still there. People go thru many trials and tribulations being hard on themselves. Sometimes assumption plays a dangerous part in one’s life, always thinking that it is what other people thought they were thinking. Some people learn it the hard way. Some people have previous past experiences to understand the meaning of it. Loss for words??

This being said, it’s just like the day when there were crossroads in everyone of our lifes. Stuck in the middle with choices to make, just a different route will make you wonder, make you fall or make you rise. Some might reach their destiny, some still searching for the right road to take. Some not even reaching the crossroads, they go blindly.

In all things there are problems along the way, some problems come one after another, like it will never end. Some of them come all at once, some come after you’ve sort of dissolve the previous problem. Life can never be that easy, as smooth sailing as ever, but a solution is just a temporary shortcut out of a problem, as no one ever has zero problems in life, even with a solution. It’s the same ever even for a programmer in terms of logical explanation. A problem solved might eventually evolve another problem from a different section.

So how does one go about it? Do they take in their stride to solve problems after problems or just let the problems gather and find a whole solution for it or just pretend the problem wasn’t there only for it to come at a wrong time and to finally find the solution. This question bares through all minds and people.

The world would be like a robot if all solutions are just so simple. Is like I can just answer yes or no. But if all is simple, where’s the free will, where’s the competition? How can men/women better themselves. Humans are different, they have the mind to compete, to excel, to strive to achieve.

I’ve rambled on too much, at times I just don’t know what I am typing. These somehow brings me back to the time when I used to do this many months back and even years.
