Activity Filled Week

Posted by Daniel Chew On May - 12 - 2009

Hello guys and gals! It’s been a week and yes DanielCtw was away for the week. Today is Tuesday and to tell you about all the activities I have gone through the past week would be exhilarating and would take a few posts to finish. Well, what I can say is that I enjoyed my week and also these past few days. What has happened though, that would be good to look at with a few photos.

Giant Rock

I am sure some of you can recognize these few photos and the origins of these photos of where they were taken at. Well, some are mighty obvious, and some are just plain HARD to find but it’s the life of a traveler to know where these places are.

Ferris Wheel

I always figured, photos on my blog are meant to be shared and yes, they are shared for viewing. Now of course, I would eventually start a site for my portfolio and it’s going to finish very soon. But since I would like to share with you as to why only now that I decided to start something like that, it’s all due to a mixture of events and a certain gadget.

Nikon Photo

But how can this events take me over a week? Where did I go? I am sure those who have been following my past posts would understand that it doesn’t take people to know that I have been traveling here and there. I miss this part of life, going here and there and being able to start blogging like I used to frequently.

Though I must also THANK my fellow guest bloggers who has been helping me blog during the days I was missing from the blogosphere. Well, some still remain anonymous but it’s good to mentioned them in one of my blog post in the coming future.

Sword Fish Land

I didn’t travel to another country though, which the last time I did that was 2 years ago. I wished I could though. But traveling within Malaysia also has it’s beauty and wonder. I mean, why resort to travel overseas when we haven’t even explore the wonders of Malaysia and it’s large flora and fauna and busy city life. Imagine the swordfish above, who knows where that place is?

Rocks Of KK

This rock is a giveaway and yes, it’s a magnificent sight. Would probably go there again in the coming future. It’s a dramatic experience and a sight to behold. If you need help though, you can always call me and I could arrange a package to traveling destinations around Malaysia. Well, of course when I said that, it’s not everywhere but to those islands and East Malaysia.

So seeing this preview will sort of tell you what I have been doing? But it’s that it? Well, in between these events there are many other events which would be worth mentioning. But giving too much of information would be giving away my secret. So stay tune and guessed where I’ll be going next in the coming posts too.

I’m Going Kame Hame Ha with Dragonball Evolution

Posted by Daniel Chew On February - 19 - 2009

Small Talk

How can someone ask someone to step down due to their photos being circulated on the Internet when it’s not her fault. That person needs to step down instead.

..

Just so happens that I haven’t cut my hair and was thinking of cutting it this week. Looks like I can delay it a little bit longer. What more, Nuffnang has once again done us bloggers a favor. A chance to win yourself a pair of tickets to the Dragonball Evolution premiere screening.

But then, what was I thinking about, how can someone ordinary like me transform and do something like Son Goku in Dragonball. Alright I was a fan of this manga way back when I was in primary school years. That explains how long ago it was.

See the plain me….

I shall be what my first manga hero be, and this shall be my stance to take me towards the KAME HAME HA premiere screening of Dragonball Evolution.

As fans of Dragonball Z, yellow hair means Super Saiyan. You won’t get anywhere near it with my black asian hair. Now that doesn’t stop Super Saiya Daniel Chew.

Kame Hame Ha

Feel the force of my KAME HAME HA, till it breaks out of the frame.

ps: I know my post processing of photos is flawed, but it does the job

pss: I spent too much time editing…

The original photo. Darn, yes, that’s really my hair, I just added color. Even the uniform. So can I have my Dragonball Screening. Hehehe…

Cows Go Moo, Daniel Go Mooooneeey

Posted by Daniel Chew On January - 27 - 2009

Finally after some relaxation and off from work, Daniel is back again on his feet and eating chinese new year cakes and biscuits. Heeee… yeah, I was a bit unwell before the Lunar New Year, must be the power of the OX in me.

Ox New Year

Alright I think it was due to the fact that I am at home and back at home town with all the fresh air and stuffs that got me to be back to where I am now, a healthy young man. To celebrate this time, I’ve got myself a new template with the realization to celebrate the Lunar New Year. It’s a bit reddish, a bit pinkish (OMG..) but it’ll do for the new year. So what do you all have in mind for the new year? More gambling? More beer? More alcohol? I just bully my cousins..

Where was I? Oh… being the Chinese/Lunar New Year 2009, as every year, I was in Malacca city again to visit my relatives and friends and of course to enjoy the Nyonya food. Well, I come from a Baba Nyonya lineage so it’s definitely nyonya food.

Itik Tim

One of my favorite is the ‘Itik Tim‘ (Duck Sour Soup) which is one of the classic soup I get to drink every year. Hmm.. in short it’s a soup with duck meat and ‘ham chai‘ (Sour Vegetables) which is one of a delicacy of the Nyonya food.

Until then, to all readers and jumpers and visitors of Weird Weird Denial, I want to wish to all those celebrating this festive season a very very happy and ‘ang ang’ Happy Niu 牛 Year 2009!!

New Year 2009 Goals

Posted by Daniel Chew On January - 12 - 2009

Year 2008 has been a very queer and weird year for me. In this year, I’ve practically left the comfort of my 3 years of working in the same company and then without realizing has been in 3 different companies until I stayed where I am now. It was also the year that I decided that I should start being more and more adventurous.

Thus approaching the middle of the year around April to June 2008, a few activities were lined up and I am glad I did. Yes, I know people don’t call me weird for a reason.

Lows Peak Summit Reached

One of the most important history was that I climbed the highest mountain in South East Asia at Mount Kinabalu. By doing so I am on top of all he clouds. The only thing I regretted was how slow I climbed up to reach the peak. The sun’s up too. Now wasted, no sunrise photo from me. Well, something which I might be thinking of more in the future.

It was also the first time, I am glad to have able to gathered a few people to go on a trip to Redang Island practically with a group of bloggers from the chatbox ShoutOutLounge. To think that I’ve only got to know most of them on July 2007 and by 2008 a trip to Redang Island was made possible.

ShoutOut Group Photo

To think it all began from a chatbox, I must say it really does augur to me well that more trips to be looked upon. Well, I guessed that’s all the trip I could cover due to the unavailability of leaves during the year 2008.

But back then during January 2008, I remembered that I had created a sort of a crazy and weird kind of a resolution which was to be a celebrity blogger just like Kenny Sia. Yup, it was one heck of a crazy idea but well, about the outcome, hmmm.. not as close at all.

DanielCtw on Newspaper

Now, how can I not forget this dream, but boy, I look like an amateur blogger with no sense of blogging at all. Well, I must say I have a lot to learn to even bother to know how to serve the readers and bloggers out there. But just in case you know, I ain’t no Kenny Sia because each person has their own blogging style. I am what I am, Weird Weird Denial.

To think it all began so funnily, I must say, the year 2008 has also brought upon more photos of me posing with my signature pose ever since I started my style of posing. People always say smile at the camera, I always say, Look Cool at the camera. Don’t believe me, you can try it the next time. (of course, in due time, those poses are very rare due to influences by certain people who made me pose in a cuter way…. )

Cool Pose Daniel

Yes, signature pose of this flies way back to Year 2006 I supposed when I first gave the public a glimpse of this blogger name Daniel Chew or more known as danielctw but now looking back at how my blog has changed its course of direction really baffles me. People change don’t they, well, I hope I changed for the better though. Ahhh… now, those shades were gone though, broke it in Redang Island. Dang…

Now what about this year, I guessed instead of being long winded, I can summarized what I am aiming for (blindlessly) with these photos.

Aaron Kwok Old Hairstyle

Last But Not Least……… I am going for this….. ultimate new year 2009….
Wa Tahhhhhhh~~~~~~

Bruce Lee Stance

I was a Bruce Lee fanatic during my primary school years, so many more months to come. Wonder how will the people responses be if I were to appear like that. Hahaha with all three combined..

By the way welcome year 2009 and may this year be the year I finally learnt my lesson. May this year 2009 also brings me what other adventures that will be.

Wonderful Weird Christmas

Posted by Daniel Chew On December - 26 - 2008

Daniel of danielctw.com would like to wished all it’s readers and friends and relatives, etc.. etc.. (sounds like an Oscar award) a very weird weird Christmas time. Yoo~~~~

I’ve got a secret I wanna tell you people this Christmas so stay quiet and I meant very very quiet.

Quiet Please From DanielCtw

This picture was taken last year October 2007, hehe.. stolen from my facebook. But well, since it’s now Christmas why not tell people the real joy of Christmas. Christmas meaning originated from the word Christ. Yes, that’s the birth of Jesus Christ and basically this day doesn’t really mean he is born on 25th December but as a special meaning of celebrating the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. – Christian Doctrines.

But now Christmas is celebrated commercially, thus sometimes forgetting the true meaning of Christmas. Though that doesn’t mean it kills the joy of giving and receiving presents and also those santa claus and santarinas. But anyway since it’s Christmas, I would like to wish Christians all around who is reading this blog a very Blessed Christmas as we remember the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

So walking about in certain shopping complexes, there are loads of decorations. You know Christmas seems to be celebrated by everyone now. Everyone’s starting to buy presents for their loved ones, even shopping malls decorate their malls to the max during this time of year which you hardly get to see it during other festivals. These pictures will do the talking.

Elf and Santa

The elf and Santa is around. Where is this place?

Christmas Decoration

Though don’t know whether to call this a Christmas Decoration, since it’s just lights. Errr… kinda misleading. But nevertheless, it’s still a decoration. Though I wonder, without the Christmas thingy in the center, I wonder what festival they will call it.

Next right up, I went to somewhere else to take some photos. Guessed where? Well, this place would win my vote for the most decorative Christmas decoration for 2008. None other than the Curve!

Green Big Entrance

What’s that up there? Oh.. it’s just a figurine. Now how about the rest of it?

Christmas Decoration The Curve

The girl makes a wonderful backlayout for this picture. Never thought of making nature style Christmas presentation and decoration.Though what bugs me most is why does Christmas nowadays have to be about elves. It seems this year the IN thing is not Santa or Santarinas. *demand more Santarinas*

Elf Display

See what I mean! It’s an ELF once again. Why oh Why???

Personally I enjoy Christmas! Anyway I think it’s time to rummage thru the Christmas present. Well, yes, it’s like you read. Present… not presents… *cries*
