		</div>
<p>Walking around (<em>Jalan Jalan</em>) Pulau Pinang (<em>Penang Island</em>), after my <a title="PBIM 2010" href="http://danielctw.com/2010/11/29/post-mortem-pbim-2010-penang-trip/" target="_blank"><strong>Penang Bridge Half Marathon 2010</strong></a> I had one half of a day to go around the island. Well, particularly it has been almost 2 years since I set <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">food</span> foot here. It&#8217;s also like 3 years ago when I first came here in 2007. So what is Pulau Pinang famous for? Of course, it&#8217;s the variety of food one could get to eat.</p>
<p>What happened after the run, me and Kyuzo were practically asleep until 2pm and got up to find lunch. Decided to eat at the mee goreng (<em>fried noodle</em>) stall. Well, enough to satisfy the hunger I supposed.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3625" title="Wah Kiang Seafood Lok Lok" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/wah-kiang-seafood-loklok.jpg" alt="Wah Kiang Seafood Lok Lok" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>Soon it was night and our host, Ms Su Lynn brought us for food. I decided to opt for <strong>Lok Lok</strong> (<em>food dipped in hot water</em>) for dinner.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3624" title="Lok Lok" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/loklok.jpg" alt="Lok Lok" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>Fret not, this is only a part of what I had.</p>
<p><em>Secret: I do eat a lot BUT I also don&#8217;t really gain weight.</em> <strong>*BISH*</strong></p>
<p>So after that it was a drive to Batu Feringghi in the night and time for some night shopping for *<strong><em>ahem ahem</em></strong>* <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">DVDs</span>. After that about 10pm, decided to head back to Penang town to try the <strong>Koay Zhap</strong> (<em>pork lard in starchy sauce</em>) which I haven&#8217;t had for 2 years. ARGHHHH&#8230; didn&#8217;t get to. It was close that day. I was wondering did the uncle took a break? Maybe he ran the <strong>Penang Bridge Run</strong> also.</p>
<p>Soon we just head back to the house and had our fair share of watching DVDs and doze off soon after.</p>
<p>Next morning, it was a working day, Su Lynn needs to go to work, so were dropped off at Original Kayu Mamak Restaurant. Me and Kyuzo ate <strong>Nasi Lemak</strong> (<em>Scented Coconut Rice</em>) and <strong>Tosai</strong> (<em>Indian Thin Crusted Flour Bread</em>) and <strong>Vadai</strong> (<em>Indian Biscuit with chillies</em>) each. Well, that&#8217;s what you get for running in a run. Appetite has grown bigger.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3626" title="Nasi Lemak Original Kayu" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/nasi-lemak-original-kayu.jpg" alt="Nasi Lemak Original Kayu" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>Nasi Lemak is still a local delicacy. Though excessively eating this could lead to very high cholesterol level.</p>
<p>On the first day, I still remembered taking photos of how my weird mind perceived them to be. Here are a few shots.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3622" title="Beware of Dog Signboard" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/beware-of-dog-signboard.jpg" alt="Beware of Dog Signboard" width="465" height="700" /></p>
<p><strong>BEWARE OF DOG</strong>&#8230;. errrr where&#8217;s the dog?</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3627" title="Fire Hydrant" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/fire-hydrant.jpg" alt="Fire Hydrant" width="444" height="700" /></p>
<p><strong>Fire Hydrant</strong>?? What&#8217;s the use if it&#8217;s already opened?</p>
<p>Of course let&#8217;s come out of my weirdness and look at something else instead.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3621" title="Red Stumps" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/red-turrets-ke-lok-si.jpg" alt="Red Stumps" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>Now where is this place? Some people might recognize it though. I am sure the next picture will roughly tell you where I was.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3623" title="Daniel Chew Beyond Penang" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/danielctw-beyond-penang.jpg" alt="Daniel Chew Beyond Penang" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>Ahem&#8230; still ain&#8217;t sure? No kidding.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3628" title="Snake Sculpture" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/snake-sculpture.jpg" alt="Snake Sculpture" width="465" height="700" /></p>
<p>Ahhhh.. finally, something familiar? Yes, it&#8217;s a sculpture of a snake. One of the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals. The most magnificent one. Of course, how about me taking a picture of myself with one of the animals that somehow would finally reveal my age.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3629" title="DanielCtw with Dog Sculpture" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/danielctw-dog-zodiac.jpg" alt="DanielCtw with Dog Sculpture" width="465" height="700" /></p>
<p>It&#8217;s been a hard day&#8217;s night, and I am working like a dog. Seems to me that&#8217;s what it means.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3630" title="Fish Pond Bokeh" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/over-crowded-signboard.jpg" alt="Fish Pond Bokeh" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>It&#8217;s just so many pictures one can take here. Even a signboard can look better than normal. It&#8217;s all about the angle.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3631" title="Bonsai Plant" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/bonsai.jpg" alt="Bonsai Plant" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>Sometimes angle plays an important part when taking a photo. How one position their photos and camera. This is something I would talk about in a new website that I am doing and preparing. Learn more about it there.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re still clueless as to where&#8217;s the location. It&#8217;s at <strong>Ke Lok Si</strong>, the temple up on the hill near to <strong>Ayer Itam</strong>. Speaking of which, there&#8217;s a famous food up around Ayer Itam. Wait for it&#8230; wait for it&#8230;.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3632" title="Ayer Itam Asam Laksa" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/ayer-itam-asam-laksa.jpg" alt="Ayer Itam Asam Laksa" width="465" height="700" /></p>
<p><strong>AYER ITAM ASAM LAKSA</strong></p>
<p>Look at how thick the gravy is. Yes, it was me, Chin Ann and Kyuzo once again when Chin Ann fetched us from Original Kayu restaurant and from there we headed towards Ke Lok Si and now for some food before we head home to Kuala Lumpur again. It&#8217;s better to eat some Asam Laksa (<em>Sour Assam Laksa</em>).</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3633" title="Uncle Poses for Air Itam Laksa Stall" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/air-itam-asam-laksa-stall.jpg" alt="Uncle Poses for Air Itam Laksa Stall" width="700" height="393" /></p>
<p>What was the response after eating this? Here&#8217;s what.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3634" title="Kyuzo and Chin Ann after Asam Laksa" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/kyuzo-chinann-asam-laksa.jpg" alt="Kyuzo and Chin Ann after Asam Laksa" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>Chin Ann had 2 bowls of Asam Laksa and Kyuzo smiling after having his fill of Asam Laksa. You can see how delicious it is.</p>
<p>Then finally it was time for us to leave Penang. It will be many more days before coming back to Penang once again. Who knows, it could be the year after with only a few more months to 2011.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3635" title="Kyuzo Misses Penang" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/kyuzo-missing-penang.jpg" alt="Kyuzo Misses Penang" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p>Though <em><strong>some people</strong></em> took it too seriously as he looked upon the shores of Penang Island and wondered to himself.</p>
<p>Yes, we took the ferry back to the mainland. It was then a drive all the way to Kuala Lumpur. So see you again Penang Island. Who knows, I&#8217;ll be there most probably next year Penang Bridge Marathon 2011. This time aiming for the <strong>42km run</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3636" title="Bye Bye Penang" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/byebye-penang.jpg" alt="Bye Bye Penang" width="700" height="465" /></p>
<p><strong>BYE BYE PENANG!!!</strong></p>

<p>This post was way backdated, but yes, I had the privilege to visit <strong>Penang Island</strong> again shortly before my Tibet trip. Yes, it&#8217;s way before my Tibet trip which was like half a year ago. Now how far back that was.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2577" title="Penang Kongsi" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/penang1.jpg" alt="" width="670" height="445" /></p>
<p>Ahhh&#8230; Penang reminds me when I am back at Malacca. All the <strong>old buildings,</strong> the unique buildings which you can hardly see in the now modern city of <strong>Kuala Lumpur</strong>. Not to mention a lot of history back then, which we get to visit now.</p>
<p>Some really old means of travel, <strong>the trishaw</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2578" title="Pulau Pinang Trishaw Display" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/penang2.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="678" /></p>
<p>Up till now, I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve ever sat on a trishaw after I was 12 years old. Darn, that reminds me of my age. I am getting older. Nevertheless, the older one gets the more things one can do, eh wait, the more responsibility. Arghhhhhh!!!</p>
<p>Unlike previous trips to Penang  (Pulau Pinang), this time I got the liberty to go on a tour of historical buildings and places of interest as this time we&#8217;re being guided by our guide,<strong> Su Lyn</strong> and also we were to guide a <strong>German national</strong> (plays Volleyball) to tour around Malaysia&#8217;s Pearl of the Orient.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2586" title="Khoo Kong Si" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/khoo-kongsi.jpg" alt="" width="670" height="445" /></p>
<p>One of the places we get to visit is the <strong>Khoo Kongsi</strong>. Well, seemingly is like a house full of Khoo&#8217;s (<em>people who come from the ancestry line of Khoo</em>). Superbly big, and the Khoo Kongsi is the biggest Kongsi in the whole of Penang, the street you&#8217;re looking at is the <strong>Cannon street</strong>. The reason : A cannon was fired towards this street. Huh?? Yup, during the war.</p>
<p>But I thought Penang is a strategic location to defend the Island???</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2582" title="Fort Conwallis" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/fort-conwallis.jpg" alt="" width="670" height="445" /></p>
<p>Take a look at <strong>Fort Conwallis</strong>. Once long time ago, it was the fort to guard the city from the attack from the ocean. Now only a few remains of the Fort is there. Guess it again, this time I did go in after many times trying to visit the place only to find that it&#8217;s <strong>close on Sunday</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2583" title="Fort Conwallis Cannon with Jonas" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/fort-conwallis-cannon.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="678" /></p>
<p>The cannon is now rusty, but look <strong>Jonas</strong> (<em>the German guy I was talking about</em>) just had to pose alongside the cannon. I should have asked him to do a photo shoot. He&#8217;s tall, way way tall. When I say tall, it means&#8230;..</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2579" title="Group Picture DanielCtw, Jonas and WaiKhong Fort Conwallis" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/picture-with-jonas-penang-trip.jpg" alt="" width="670" height="445" /></p>
<p><strong>This TALL</strong>. I only reached his shoulder. If you&#8217;ve met me, you will know how tall this <strong>German Volleyball</strong> player is. (<em>pssst.. he&#8217;s from Saxon</em>, girls, too bad he&#8217;s taken)</p>
<p>Of course, a fort won&#8217;t be called a fort if there&#8217;s no defense area, and a place to produce gun powder for the cannon. We need gunpowder and so that one can <strong>POW POW POW.. KABABOOM!!! </strong></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2584" title="Gun Powder" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/gun-powder.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="678" /></p>
<p>As light was insufficient, this is the best I can do. Though one can just put sand and call it gunpowder, noooo.. it&#8217;s the real thing.</p>
<p>Being in Penang, it&#8217;s not only the places of interest. It&#8217;s the <strong>food </strong>too. Well, food can come another time as I am writing this when I haven&#8217;t had my dinner. So I ain&#8217;t gonna show some food pics. But of course, going to Penang, you just had to buy those biscuits from <strong>Him Heang</strong>. Where&#8217;s that? I ain&#8217;t sure cause there was a guide to bring me there.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2585" title="Get your Him Heang Biscuits" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/him-heang.jpg" alt="" width="670" height="445" /></p>
<p>Look at the obscene amount of queue just to buy <strong>BISCUITS</strong>. Serious!!!!!</p>
<p>After talking about food, I am so hungry I can <strong>SUCK A BALITONG.</strong> What&#8217;s that? Have a view from my <a title="Balitong Penang" href="http://danielctw.com/2007/11/23/seafood-tambun-penang/" target="_blank">previous Penang Trip</a>.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2581" title="Time to Eat" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/balitong.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="513" /></p>
<p>Suck Suck Suck~~~ Even Jonas had a try. Seriously I ain&#8217;t a fan of this sea mussel but if a tourist from another country can do it, so should I.</p>
<p><strong>One response : WOOOT~~~~ I wanna eat again!</strong></p>
<p>Finally after all that, meet the gang and the place we bunked in.</p>
<p><strong><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2580" title="The Rest of The Penang Trip Gang" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/siao-penang-trip-group-photo.jpg" alt="" width="670" height="445" /></strong></p>
<p><em>From top: Charles (rockers)</em><br />
<em>From bottom left : Khong Wai, Weird One, Su Lyn</em></p>
<p>Purely traveling and having food and sightseeing. A different experience for me. Should do this more often as I am not <em><strong>Penang lang</strong></em> (<em>penangite</em>).</p>
<p>Finally ending with a photo of a food in Penang. Anyone can roughly guess what&#8217;s this?</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2576" title="Oyster Penang" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/oyster-penang.jpg" alt="" width="670" height="445" /></p>
<p><strong>HUNGRY~~~~~~~~~~~~</strong></p>

		</div>
<p>Remember the <strong>Southern Trio</strong>?? Yes, the trip has not ended with more trips in mind for the next trip planned ahead. Where will they think of going to next? But before I even talked about where&#8217;s their next destination, their trip in Penang hasn&#8217;t ended yet.</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/penang-trio.jpg" alt="KL Guys up To Penang" /></p>
<p>Well, just so that I really enjoy my experience in Penang, this time it&#8217;s the rest of the gang, who made our trip as fun as ever. Now shouters are really posers. They can even do a pose when they&#8217;re walking on the way back. Now that&#8217;s what I call awesome. For those that couldn&#8217;t catch <a href="http://willazz.blogspot.com" title="Willazz" target="_blank">Willazz</a>&#8216;s on the photo, the one below is one with his signature cap. Nice can??</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/penang-sui.jpg" alt="FIR Wannabes" /><br />
<em><strong>From left : Willazz, Satkuru &amp; Wendy</strong></em></p>
<p><span id="more-637"></span></p>
<p>But when you&#8217;re talking about being around with the gang, there&#8217;s bound to be like a big brother guy. Some of you don&#8217;t even know who&#8217;s <strong>Ah Lok</strong>, and here&#8217;s our <strong>big brother</strong> (Dai Lou) ordering Aaron Woolala something.</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/penang-dailou.jpg" alt="Big Brother Ah Lok" /></p>
<p>Woah, imagine the sweatness. One good thing about being a <a href="http://penangpenang.com" title="ShoutOut" target="_blank">Shouter of Penangpenang.com</a> is that across borders, we all made friends and this is what made me realized, friends can be made if we take the time to start making friends. So people, don&#8217;t just sit down in front of the PC and play video games all the time. Woops&#8230; it&#8217;s like I am referring to someone I know, no pun intended ya..</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/penang-weird.jpg" alt="Weird Fire Hydrant" /></p>
<p>Of course, when I go out for a photoshoot with the group of us, I would also love to take some weird photos for display. Well, I wouldn&#8217;t call this site Weird Weird Denial for nothing if there aren&#8217;t at least sometimes weird photoshoots. This fire hydrant, it&#8217;s near the MPPP. Huh?? What&#8217;s MPPP??</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/penang-dppp.jpg" alt="Penang MPPP Building" /></p>
<p>The MPPP stands for <strong>Majlic Perbandaran Pulau Pinang</strong> or it&#8217;s English equivalent, <strong>Penang Municipal Council</strong>. Well, the structure really took me by surprise. Such magnificent building, though it was spoilt with the red color shadow at the right due to some event with a red umbrella reflecting it&#8217;s color back to the building.</p>
<p>Hmm, talking about buildings, I can just imagine if there ever was a movie in Malaysia, and the people from Tokyo decided that they should do a Monster movie like Godzilla, wonder how it would look like?</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/godzilla.jpg" alt="Godzilla Attacks" /></p>
<p>OMG!!!! Godzilla attacks&#8230; fear not, we&#8217;ve got a contender in our very own country. Before proceeding, the next picture was made out of fun. Don&#8217;t murder me yeah&#8230;</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/manzilla.jpg" alt="The Manzilla JJ" /></p>
<p>Here&#8217;s The Manzilla&#8230; Pushing a apartment block situated in Taman Farlim. Runzzz&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;</p>

<p>Pictures are coming. Looks like it&#8217;s the first Penang Trip of the year. Yes, 3 guys from KL went all the way up to Penang. The same 3 that went for the <a title="ShoutOut BBQ 2007" href="http://danielctw.com/2007/12/30/shoutout-penang-bbq-3/" target="_blank">ShoutOut Penang BBQ just a month ago</a>. We&#8217;re just always going up Penang eh&#8230;</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/penang-trio.jpg" alt="KL Guys up To Penang" /><br />
From left : FireWire, ME &amp; Aaron</p>
<p>Mind me, as we are coming from South, so henceforth the <strong>Southern Trio</strong>. Okay, we&#8217;re not a triad or anything okay, just so happen that the three of us are free once again to go up Penang and have some fun meeting the rest in <em><strong>Penang, Pearl of the Orient</strong></em>.</p>
<p>This time going up to Penang is more than just meet up, we have come to a conclusion that there should be more sightseeing and more food hunting, so off we go to certain places, where I try to capture some of the scenic views in Penang. Well, too bad my camera battery&#8217;s gone dead on me or there will be like lots more photos to play around.</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/penang-asia-cafe.jpg" alt="Asia Cafe Air Itam Penang" /></p>
<p>Asia Cafe in Air Itam was where I had my first Penang dim sum. Well, it was indeed fun, get to eat food and thanks to <a title="JJ Zai" href="http://jjzai.blogspot.com" target="_blank">JJzai</a> for bringing us out for breakfast. Really appreciate all your troubles. Even Kuey Zhap and also the loklok (satay celup [dip])<br />
<img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/penang-monument.jpg" alt="Monument Penang" /></p>
<p>Other than just eating, we went sightseeing, here&#8217;s the monument near Padang Tembak (Shooting Field) where there&#8217;s a memorial for all the war dudes. Penang has it&#8217;s history which is also a reknowned island during it&#8217;s glory days.</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/penang-cannon.jpg" alt="Cannon Fort Conwallis" /></p>
<p><span id="more-621"></span></p>
<p>See that cannon!!! Try to guess where it is! It&#8217;s at <strong>Fort Conwallis</strong>.Yeap, too bad we went on a Sunday to visit, because it&#8217;s funny, that place is closed to public on a Sunday. Yeah, the day which one would expect tourist to visit, and they have to close it on a Sunday. So I missed the big ship, the horse riding army in the Fort itself. Dang&#8230;. I will go up there once again!!</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/penang-g.jpg" alt="G Hotel, Gurney Drive" /></p>
<p>One thing that caught a few of our eyes is the alphabet <strong>G</strong>. Yes, it&#8217;s the logo for G Hotel in Gurney Drive area, and with the upcoming Lunar New Year, no wonder it has the spirit of putting on a Chinese Hat. Fantastic!!! Simple name for a hotel but catchy&#8230; Well, all is not well, if there are no pictures of human beings.</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/penang-models.jpg" alt="Sunglasses Models" /></p>
<p>Who would expect that we have sunglasses models in Penang. Hahaha!!! Taken just outside Queensbay Mall, the place looks nice, but not all seems what it seems. We just love to take photos, and now you know! Well, where am I in the photo?? I am the cameraman, and usually cameraman has lesser photos. <strong>*sobs*</strong></p>
<p>i am glad this short 2 days trip to Penang was still a blast even though it ended abruptly fast. Here I would like to thank a few people who had made time to come out and meet us. Thanks to <a title="Saebai" href="http://saewei.blogspot.com" target="_blank">Saewei</a>, <a title="Mish Mor Mor" href="http://gnowznew.blogspot.com" target="_blank">Wendy</a>, <a title="KiriKuru" href="http://satkuru.com" target="_blank">Satkuru</a>, <a title="Emcee Willazz" href="http://willazz.blogspot.com" target="_blank">Willazz</a> for accompanying us most of the time. Also to Angeline, who followed us on the trip up North even though some minor mishap happened, I hope you enjoyed your short stay too. <a title="CH" href="http://cheehsien.net" target="_blank">Chee Hsien</a> who went out and met us at Subaidah mamak near Tanjung Tokong, and last but not least, <a title="Ah Lok cafe" href="http://ahlokcafe.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">AhLok</a> who helped us with the accomodation. You guys rocks&#8230;. Is that it???</p>
<p><img src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/penang-whatsnext.jpg" alt="Next in Penang" /></p>
<p>Doubt So!! Stay Tune! But if you want to know more about Penang or just find yourself travel around <a href="http://www.thisismalaysia.com">Malaysia</a> and stay tune for more adventures</p>

<p>The <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">hopefully</span> final installment of the <strong>ShoutOut series in Penang Island</strong>. Yes, for those that don&#8217;t know, it was supposed to be held at the beach but due to bad weather, location was changed to <a title="JJ Jai" href="http://jjzai.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">JJ</a>&#8216;s house. Yes, so off we go but shouters still have fun. So instead of me elaborating, have fun with the chickens, lamb (did we have this??), sausages, fish!!</p>
<p><a title="ShoutOut Penang" href="http://danielctw.com/2007/12/22/shoutout-penang-1/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #336699;">ShoutOut Penang 1</span></strong></a><br />
<a title="ShoutOut Penang 2" href="http://danielctw.com/2007/12/26/shoutout-penang-2/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #336699;">ShoutOut Penang 2</span></strong></a></p>
<p><img src="http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/346/chickenwingco1.jpg" border="0" alt="Chicken Wing" width="523" height="262" /><br />
<strong>THE VICTIM</strong></p>
<p><img src="http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/7442/bbqguyskd7.jpg" border="0" alt="The BBQ-ers" width="635" height="435" /><br />
<strong>THE CULPRIT</strong></p>
<p>Yes, all this was mark out to celebrate the <strong>ShoutOut gathering of the year</strong>. It was a big gathering, and it was fun. So in order to commensurate this event, whenever there&#8217;s a party, there&#8217;s bound to be a cake. Well there are of course <a title="Bon Odori Penang ShoutOut" href="http://danielctw.com/2007/07/26/shoutout-in-penang/" target="_blank">other ShoutOut gatherings</a> too, even Kuala Lumpur people also <a title="ShoutOut in KL" href="http://danielctw.com/2007/08/27/shoutout-in-kl/" target="_blank">had their gathering</a>.</p>
<p><img src="http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/3641/shoutoutcakeja2.jpg" border="0" alt="ShoutOut Cake" width="529" height="390" /></p>
<p>Now whenever there&#8217;s a gathering, there are bound to be some people who stand out from the crowd. Yes, ShoutOut has shouters with their own uniqueness. We have the <strong>DIVA</strong>, <a title="Cedric" href="http://www.goodboygonebad.com" target="_blank">Cedric</a>.</p>
<p><img src="http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/7619/divakj2.jpg" border="0" alt="Diva ShoutOut Cedric" width="630" height="429" /></p>
<p>Cedric doing his pose! OK!!! Though I know some of you are looking at something on the left. Who is that??? Hahahaha.. go guess!! <strong>People People, please focus, we&#8217;re talking about BBQ ok!!</strong></p>
<p><img src="http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/8374/gangsterns5.jpg" border="0" alt="Gangster Gathering of ShoutOut" width="630" height="429" /></p>
<p>OMG!!! Aaron doing his Eye Thingy again. The other two (<a title="Me The Daniel" href="http://danielctw.com" target="_blank">me</a> and <a title="Satkuru" href="http://satkuru.com" target="_blank">Satkuru</a>) are trying to think of a way to pour their Pepsi and Coke on him. Hehehe&#8230; Well, Aaron is like in Penang as if he stayed there for a year already. O.o See how he threatens you.<br />
<strong><em>&#8220;See what?? Want die ka&#8230; I give you THE EYE!!!!&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>When you have a gathering, there are bound to have lots of funny things and some people have their fun and twist with questions. One of my favorite question can be seen in this picture!</p>
<p><img src="http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/206/questionmf4.jpg" border="0" alt="Sand Eating Question" width="630" height="429" /></p>
<p>For those that still want to try this question, tell me your answers in the comment box. Hehehehe!!! Reaffirm it. Spread the word&#8230;. *<em>woops</em>*</p>
<p>Finally the last but not least the group photo with a pinch of laughter. Well, of course me being the one holding the camera this time, I won&#8217;t be in the picture.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2807" title="shoutout penang group photo" src="http://danielctw.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/shoutout-penang-group-photo.jpg" alt="shoutout penang group photo" width="630" height="372" /></p>
<p>Not enough questions, how about this?? Who can give the best tagline and what do you think she was doing? Come come, give your comments. Wheeee~~~~~ Looks like this is so called the end of the joyous ShoutOut meetup.</p>
<p>If you still don&#8217;t know about ShoutOut, see the box at the right at my menus, the one with the ShoutOut logo, yes, just say a Hi and yes, that&#8217;s the community there. Now Is this really the end?? Who knows, I might pop in a picture or two the next post.</p>
<p>Anyway the New Year is coming!! Wished you people a <strong>Happy New Year 2008</strong>. Take care all and have fun with the questions <img src='http://danielctw.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif' alt=':P' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
