Today Scooby and Joji were the heroes when they valiantly fought off a cobra (spitting type) when they heard a hissing sound somewhere between my home and my neighbor’s house.

This is how it all happened based on what my mum heard and witnessed. It all began with Joji’s constant barking. Then along came Scooby. Scooby found the slithering snake and went for the attack. The snake was taken by shock, and Scooby swung the cobra from left to right, in the process tearing up it’s belly. My mum was practically trying to find a stick to hit it’s head, by the time she came, the cobra was already dead from the tear on it’s abdomen where it’s inside were shown and nearly into half.

My guess : Scooby did that. That’s settled. Though the only thing happened was Scooby seemed to be shot with the cobra’s hissing venom (the spitting cobra type). Both eyes were injured and he was rushed to the veterinarian.

Condition
Scooby has to put eye drops for every hour for at least 3 days for the eyes to heal. Joji and Scooby were both happy after the ordeal, they are like shaking their tails all the time with each another, like they have accomplished something worthy of themselves. I must say I was proud of them both.

If you’re still clueless on what I was talking about. I am talking about how Scooby the Golden Retriever and Joji the Half Shih Tzu dog worked together to combat the cobra that somehow dwindle into the compound.

For those who have been following me years back, Joji once did encountered a cobra and I guessed he must have used his experience against it. Though he might not have clear vision like he used to when he was young, I guessed it’s a dog instinct to detect something dangerous. Read Joji’s Cobra ordeal here.

Now what about the Spitting Cobra?

Usually there would be a pair. Gonna put sulfur around the house once again.

The year is like 2007. What a better way to dedicate this year to my lovable dog and cuddly man’s best friend, the ever loving Joji. Half Shih Tzu & half spitz if I am not mistaken. ^_^

Having a dog to love you and be with you while you’re back from work, school and to play with is what everyone desire. I mean not only dogs but other pets as well. So to now I will dedicate a 2nd (wait…was it 3rd) time to Joji.

A dedication to all dog lovers out there. If you love your pet dog, treat it like one of your family.
