Fiji has got to be one of the best places for me to plan to visit. I mean just look at the pictures of this place. A trip or an escapade to an island sanctuary has always been what I’ve wanted to do when vacation time comes. I could never forget my trips to the Maldives and Redang Island that I’ve taken in the past.
Anyway thinking of vacationing to Fiji and planning it is not really as difficult as it seems, as long as you find the right resource for information. The right information could prepare you for any kind of culture shock that you get when traveling abroad. But isn’t that what travelling is about? To explore and learn about the great culture when one travels? Fiji or officially the Republic of Fiji, is an island country in Melanesia in the South Pacific Ocean about 1,100 nautical miles northeast of New Zealand’s North Island.
If you love to go scuba diving, this is going to be one of your favorite destinations for diving. There is abundance of soft corals around the region.
Due to its location, the coral reefs around it are mostly left untouched and this ensures that the ocean ecosystem is perfect. Of course, what would diving be if one doesn’t have knowledge on where to dive? For someone who loves diving (me included), below is the dive map of Fiji for you to check out.
The sight of seeing a Tiger Shark while diving is breathtaking. Of course, just try to not to be the dinner yourself.
Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to spot the ever graceful Manta Ray.
All of this would not be possible if there isn’t any proper planning. So now that you’re thinking about going for a dive, you need to plan on where to stay. You can look through countless websites online that are worthless, but I found this helpful article on things to do in Fiji here.
Until the next travel plan, adios senor senorita.
