My First KOTR Running Medal 2012

After writing about my run in a post today, I had an urge to write about another one. Strangely enough since I got my certificate today I should actually talk about it more. The run was Adidas King of the Road Malaysia 2012 held in Bandar Sunway.

Unlike previous seasons and running events, I am not as competitive as before because I felt that there is no point running so fast when I did not train as usual. Nevertheless the feeling of receiving the Finisher Medal at the end of the race was priceless. Never before had I received a Adidas King of the Road medal because previously it was only given to first 300 to 500 finishers. This year’s organizing team for the King of the Road was splendid. There were enough water for the runners, the organizers did a splendid job this year.

King of the Road 2012 Finisher Medal

I had fun running on the NPE highway with Yen and the feeling of getting the finisher medal was a given. Though wait…… wait till you see the certificate they have for us. Either they are saving cost on printing the certificate or they are going green, the certificate is still excellent.

For a 10KM run with a time of 01:40:53:30 (1 hour 40 minutes and 53 seconds) is still acceptable since there were still many people behind us who joined in just for the fun. Anyway here is the certificate I promised to show you.

TA DAH!!!!
