Super tired. Super super tired. Why so tired? That’s why la~~~ Go to China, then come back then no train. Then after that just sit at home sleeping or watching tv or go online all the time. Then suddenly today in the morning around 7am go out jog non-stop for 5km. Anyone also will get tired by doing this!

Yes, that was what I did! I was woken up this morning by FireWire who came over to Taman Melawati to have a stamina training run non-stop. Well, for someone like me who does so little training before a run, I think it’s better someone to pace along with you. While jogging, I started to feel so ‘sam fu’/xing ku’ breathless and can’t really continue on. What is with all the uphill and downhill? But I persevered cause didn’t want to just give up halfway. Initial plan was to run 10km non-stop but seeing the bright sunshine came out (Woo hoo) I finally can rest and stopped at the 5km mark. Well, looks like a lot of training need to be done once again.

I still remembered my first run which was like March 2009 and I can’t even last 1km. We usually remember our first run. Of course not counting my Jogathon years in Secondary School. So what time did I get for this stamina jog?

Just 3 days ago, lots of thing was going on in my life. Well, yes, this time a personal post. Not so advertised now though. I was reading about a Martian and a Venusian (someone from Venus).

It basically helps me to understand what peculiar things does a Martian and a Venusian has. They’re both from different planets. What was I reading? I am sure most of you would have guessed it. It’s John Gray’s Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. Somehow reading this book has given me an insight of lots and lots of things about the opposite sex. What? Daniel has started to read these kind of books? Yes, maybe I am.

Though I wouldn’t say that this book is 100% foolproof but it gives each person an insight of what is to be expected. I had a few times when I was reading this, it feels like, wow it understands me. Take for example, guys are known to solve problems, to show they can do something. Women just wants to share their problems.

Of course the world is created equal where Men are NOT Women or rather Women are NOT Men. Else why is there is a difference? Some stuffs I found from the net though.

Now be careful what you wished for! Ain’t saying that this applies to all women, sometimes the role is reversed (though hardly). Now everyone loves to look good eh. But here’s something I want to intrigue your mind with.

One day your lovely girlfriend/wife wakes up and looks at the mirror and suddenly screamed, “Wah…. I am fat”, which in actual fact not fat at all.

But the guy who is all round and big at the belly wakes up and looks at the mirror and proclaimed, “Wow you look good!”

See the difference eh?

I am not here to debate between what’s good in a men and what’s good in a women. I am not promoting the book. I am just sharing my thoughts and opinions on how one can understand each another well. Face it, men don’t usually like to read self help books as it usually demote their status as someone who needs help (somehow there’s this ego on every male, well kinda agree, who would wanna lose). This book was meant to understand how the opposite sex generally thinks. In that way, it also helps me to understand my dearest better.

Sometimes action really do speaks louder than words.

This post seems late, but nevertheless, I have to highlight this. Well, attended Siew Peng’s and Ronnie’s wedding. Surprisingly the food served was all vegetarian. Imagine eating vegetarian shark fin’s soup, vegetarian prawn, vegetarian jellyfish. My eyes rolled when I found out everything was vegetarian.

So who were the bride and groom?

Yup, this is the best I can do with a 50mm and with many people blocking. No flash was fired. So as in all weddings, it’s always good to take group pictures. Of course, the setting of that place was beautiful.

As there’s nothing much to say, here are the group photos.

A few many weeks days back, Nikonian Academy had a 2000th forum member celebration and they held a feast and gathering for forum members. I am glad I joined the forum as I get to learn from lots of sifu and guru out there about shooting, cameras, photoshop and also how to market yourself in the camera and digital world.

Enough said, if you’re part of Nikonian, the answer to everything is shoot more pictures. So this was the day that I had my first taste of Studio Photography.

Now how about that. Half bikini half shirt. The lightings we had in order to take these photos were excellent. Until one of the participants, David Chong decided to play along and be the male model. Boy, did we have lot of shots of him.

I must say, joining Nikonian Academy‘s classes was worth it after my first FREE class of Adobe Photoshop with Sean Liew. Anyway, towards the end of the year, I have yet to make time for other classes and with insufficient budget, I have to postphone it to another day.

Thus with all the studio lighting setup and a cool background, it’s decided that there is no need to feel shame. There is no need to bother what people thinks. There is no need to not use the opportunity. Then I made a WISE DECISION.
