Flight to Kota Kinabalu Sabah

Posted by danielctw On May - 15 - 2009

It was May 1st 2009, a public holiday for everyone to enjoy and also a day for Daniel (DanielCtw) to enjoy his first trip of the year. Whee Hoo~~~ All the way to East Malaysia in the land of Sabah, I look, I see, I rampaged. So at the time of 7:30pm, I boarded the plane using MAS (Malaysia Airlines).

Daniel Pose in Airport Rails

Toook this photo while waiting for my flight to board. Well, credits to Mouse for helping me to take this. Err wait, is it David? *blurs* Anyway touched down and rested for the night. Well, the following day uprising, where else to go? Time to visit the jetty and to the island we shall go? Last year it was Sapi Island. This year it’s Manukan Island. (Though I grew to regret for going to Manukan Island – the crowd~~~)

Jesselton Point Kinabalu

The group photo before boarding the small boat to the island. There are lots and lots of photos but I might save that for later. Well, seemingly Jesselton Point is the only port where you can take those boats to islands like Sapi, Manukan and Gaya. If you’re in Sabah, you definitely would have heard of Sipadan and Mabul, well it’s on the other side and this port doesn’t go there. Well, just in case you thought you can go there using here though.

Activity Filled Week

Posted by danielctw On May - 12 - 2009

Hello guys and gals! It’s been a week and yes DanielCtw was away for the week. Today is Tuesday and to tell you about all the activities I have gone through the past week would be exhilarating and would take a few posts to finish. Well, what I can say is that I enjoyed my week and also these past few days. What has happened though, that would be good to look at with a few photos.

Giant Rock

I am sure some of you can recognize these few photos and the origins of these photos of where they were taken at. Well, some are mighty obvious, and some are just plain HARD to find but it’s the life of a traveler to know where these places are.

Ferris Wheel

I always figured, photos on my blog are meant to be shared and yes, they are shared for viewing. Now of course, I would eventually start a site for my portfolio and it’s going to finish very soon. But since I would like to share with you as to why only now that I decided to start something like that, it’s all due to a mixture of events and a certain gadget.

Nikon Photo

But how can this events take me over a week? Where did I go? I am sure those who have been following my past posts would understand that it doesn’t take people to know that I have been traveling here and there. I miss this part of life, going here and there and being able to start blogging like I used to frequently.

Though I must also THANK my fellow guest bloggers who has been helping me blog during the days I was missing from the blogosphere. Well, some still remain anonymous but it’s good to mentioned them in one of my blog post in the coming future.

Sword Fish Land

I didn’t travel to another country though, which the last time I did that was 2 years ago. I wished I could though. But traveling within Malaysia also has it’s beauty and wonder. I mean, why resort to travel overseas when we haven’t even explore the wonders of Malaysia and it’s large flora and fauna and busy city life. Imagine the swordfish above, who knows where that place is?

Rocks Of KK

This rock is a giveaway and yes, it’s a magnificent sight. Would probably go there again in the coming future. It’s a dramatic experience and a sight to behold. If you need help though, you can always call me and I could arrange a package to traveling destinations around Malaysia. Well, of course when I said that, it’s not everywhere but to those islands and East Malaysia.

So seeing this preview will sort of tell you what I have been doing? But it’s that it? Well, in between these events there are many other events which would be worth mentioning. But giving too much of information would be giving away my secret. So stay tune and guessed where I’ll be going next in the coming posts too.

Farewell to Stacy-san

Posted by danielctw On May - 9 - 2009

It was 2 weeks ago, we had a farewell for Stacy-san, one of my fellow Japanese class coursemate. Well, seeing how close all of us has become, we decided to have a farewell lunch after class with our Sensei or rather せんせいおしろう and also of course Stacy.

Japanese Class Food Gathering in Pavilion

It’s a restaurant in Pavilion and the food’s not bad as you can see we each have our filling with all the dim sum and stuffs. But what food, now that’s another story. A review would be written in the coming future (hmm… let me think about it first). But since this is all about the farewell of one of our classmate, here’s to Stacy who would be going to Japan to live with her husband.

Japanese Class Stacy Group Photo

All the best there Stacy, do keep in touch with all of us. :)

ps: Thanks to my fellow guest bloggers who helped in a way or two to ensure that my blog is not empty during the week I was away and to the readers who visit my blog while I was away :)

WWD is Glambert-fied.

Posted by SWei On May - 8 - 2009

He’s THE saint of all suaveness and hotness.

Every teenage girl (exception for me and a few others who are older)’s Edward Cullen.

He’s, I dare say, almost every girl’s secret fantasy perfect boyfriend.

Oooh, yet it buuuurrrrnnnssss (Excuse me on this, been listening to too much of ‘Ring Of Fire’, go youtube that, awesome song) when controversial pictures of him WITH another guy started surfacing. Of course it broke many little girls’ hearts but hey, it’s the 21st century now yo. Who cares about sexual preference ambiguity? Guys with eyeliner is almost as common as your ‘Friends’ reruns almost everyday on StarWorld.

Besides, it all boils down to vocal talent right?

Uh hmm. I’m sure by now you’re wondering who the heck I’ve been going on about… So here he is..

:D

I’m not sure whether you guys watch American Idol buttttttt zomg, if you haven’t heard of who ADAM LAMBERT is, you’ve been living under the rock. Seriously.

Another one to refresh your rusty old memory if you watched American Idol and actually forgot who he was. -_-

Adam does disco week! =)

Heh. He’s the front runner now in the show. WATCH AMERICAN IDOL for him okay. (:

Oh, AI didn’t pay me to promote the show here. Oh well, not like they’d get any profit from here anyway since we can’t even vote. Wokay. I shall declare that:

Weird Weird Denial is officially GLAMBERT-fied. (Yes, I just came up with the word. haha)

Heh. Not bad for a filler post when Daniel’s away from his blog right? EH WAIT, SCRATCH THAT, THIS IS NOT JUST A FILLER POST. This is a special one. Woot. I shall stop before my inner monstrous fan girl self rears its ugly head. Hic. No, I’m not high.

Signing off, Swei. :D
