A week ago, Daniel went to Times Square with the purpose of joining the Kokorobox Red Box Karaoke gathering but since he’s early there, he knows about the fashion show that will be on in the afternoon. What fashion show? It’s the Fashion Fusion 2008 from 9th to 16th August 2008.

Armed with only his trusty Nikon D40 with no external flash, he has to shoot at a higher ISO settings while lookng at other people’s gadget which consist of super powerful lens and flash unit. With a bit respect for them, Daniel went to shoot from a little bit side and hopefully he can still shoot nice photos.

Now speaking of this, it’s definitely going to be a fashion show, but what kind of fashion show though, that will be a different question. Daniel was wondering who are the models that are going to parade the walk. By the way, AaronWoolala was there along with his trusty Sony A200 to capture the scene.

So without further ado, I will keep quiet while I display the photos below. So enjoy the scene for someone who doesn’t use flash for his photos.

Now noticed something similar with all of them. Daniel has observed that all of them wear glasses so he will think that it’s more of a glasses/spectacles kind of modelling. Well, maybe the theme that time was spectacles. Maybe one day Daniel can get their personal contacts and do some portrait shots.

Mamma Mia, here we go again, my my… how can I resist~~~~ *sings to the old tune*

Well, this song is still fresh in my memory. Yup, and there is also a screening which is also the same name with the song, Mamma Mia! LOL

Remember a year ago, I went for the Pirate of Caribean screening, now another one which is Mamma Mia! The Movie. The plot of the story is a bit whacko but despite that, with screen cast of Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, what can go wrong with a movie?

Though, I am sure aside these 2 great people and actor and actresses, there is Amanda Seyfried. No idea who she is, don’t bother, just oogle at her photo then. LOL.

Known for her busty features, this girl will be the daughter in the movie. Of course she did some scenes in other movies which are actually not safe to view publicly. Ehh.. come on, you think I was going to mention about Pierce Brosnan when I can talk about the babes in the movie. Leave the Pierce Brosnan info searching for the girls.

Let’s just say if or if in case the movie turned out weirdly, at least there is Amanda Seyfriend. Yes, surprisingly I am hoping to get tickets for this movie screening and yes, it’s once again by Nuffnang.

Can you hear me saying Amanda!! Amanda!! Though I think if I do get the tickets, I just need to invite someone to come watch along too.

When I first had my mind on Weird Weird Denial, my aim was to write anything that’s weird around the neighborhood and to tell the world about it. Even weird sightings and stuffs. Then it all changed ever since I got myself into photography. No more long long articles, no more rantings, no more stupid one liners that used to grace this blog which basically runs about the life of Danielctw.

Well, to say that I missed my old blogging style would be lying to myself. But to say that I don’t welcome my new style of blogging would be like having a headshot.

Now why would I suddenly prompt myself to write something like this. Here’s a text message I received from one of my online friends that has been reading my blog for 2 years ++. Make it 3 years I guessed.

Nowadays selcome see you post up life stories, mostly photo or ads. (warghh… really?). how’s life? Busy with your new job or spending time with gal

Now what am I to say to this loyal reader of mine, I must say I am indeed very sorry that I’ve been too busy at work, too indulge in trying to create a whole new different blogging mindset. Those days I can even blog about what did I do, what adventures as in what other secret things one can do…. even crazy life stories that just happen just like that.

Well, after replying the latter, I’ve got another reply.

Well, sometimes it’s good to not post up life stories, keep it private
Just write what you like and try to snap more lengluis (pretty gals) for cuci mata (cleansing to the eyes)..

So in actual real fact, what this guy wants was just to say hello and actually asked me to post more photos of girls… =.=” In other words, he’s telling me not to post photos of myself already. Nooooo… well, thank you, and even though this message is funny and it does have its’ points.

Fear not, I am now active in taking photoshoots and I have prepared something in store for the upcoming posts.

Good day to you people, while you are all watching the latest Olympics and for those that are from Malaysia, remember that tonight is Lee Chong Wei‘s badminton match brought to you life from Beijing on Astro. Well, I think the local TV is going to air it live too.

Seems like many people are ranking for the keyword Beijing Olympics 2008 but looks like I won’t be talking more of the Olympics instead. Well, maybe I will do that at a later time after the badminton match.

If you’ve noticed, I have been gone for awhile the previous few weekends to pursue my side career as a photographer. Well, a wedding photography session to be exact.

Aside the birds, me and my co photographer went to Cameron Highlands to take shots for the album. Of course though, without prior consent from the couple, there won’t be any photographs of them here. Some sneak peaks will be released in the coming future. So instead there will be pictures of the photographer themselves. LOL

Being in Cameron Highlands is like escaping the busy urban city, and the air here is fresh and not as hazy as the air in Kuala Lumpur. So snap snap snap all the way, those that deem fit to be taken. Of course if one is to go to Cameron Highlands, I am sure some would have heard of Boh Tea plantation. Now that’s where we’re headed. Unfortunately for us though, we went on a Monday and found out it was close. But after a chance encounter with the Manager there, we have permission to drive in and proceed to take photos.

The cloud was not showing a good sign but I must say the weather was fair to us towards the end. Those days I always thought the tea leaves were hand-picked by the tea pickers only to see that there was another faster efficient way to pick up leaves to be dried for making tea and others.

How should I say it? The world of priceless tools to pick tea leaves.

And yes, the plantation was hugh covering a few mountains and who were the two photographers. There you have it on the top. Not clear, well there will be one more shot coming right up. Though I must say I should give credit to this place for an astounding tea brand.

BOH Tea Center Sungei Palas and finally we just had to pose for this. How to get there? Of course if you are lazy to browse through the menus, here is a site with information on the Tea Centre based on www.boh.com.my.

I guessed it’s fun to take photos. But now with my new work, I have very little time to travel and see around. I smell tea at my home now, mum must be making tea. Okay, got to ciao and have a happy weekend and enjoy the Beijing Olympics 2008 this year.

ps: Liverpool won the game against Sunderland yesterday… Hooray!!!!

This weeks theme is about colorful and I can’t think of anything else but of what I experimented with certain glass beads and a torch light. Not sure what I am getting at, here’s a small preview of what some imagination can one get.

All you need is a dark room and a source of light with some other props.

Of course, one can be creative with the light stuffs and create something abstract, maybe an imaginary flower. Yes, not as colorful as most other people would post, but indeed colors are there for everyone to play about and this is how colorful you can get with blue and red and yellow light.

But of course, nature has it’s colorful appearance. Sometimes I wonder in awe, colors of real nature as in the creatures of the planet. Though of course the only thing different though, it was going to be at the dinner table.

Sorry ya Mr Lobster, no matter how colorful you are, I am hungry too. Looks like some alien from another planet.
