Photohunt, is here to stay, and I can’t seem to think of what is pointed besides the ordinary stuffs. So I was actually going out for lunch and I saw this flower in the garden. Says, why not, it suits the theme. Just that I need to reword it.

It’s some kind of a plant with lookalike needle like seeds and stigmata pointing out. Well, what flower they call it, I ain’t sure, any flower experts out there? See it’s look pretty needle like, pointed on the side and pointed above.
Well, what can I say, ideas come at the least time you expect them.

I have a pointed flower too for this theme.
happy weekend.
That is beautiful! Fits the theme perfectly:)
It’s really pretty. It can even be good as a centerpiece.
Don’t know the name but the flower looks pretty.
Beautiful flower, looks prickly though
Have a great weekend.
Cool flower shot! There are just too many species around to get the actual name. I also got lost most of the time with the tons of flower shots I have in my collection. How to post up when I know nuts a bout the name? Haha

Woots~ Very nice flower pic
That’s a very beautiful! What do you call that flower?
Great shot of the cleome for the pointed theme. That’s a favorite flower of mine and is cleome hasslerana and the common name in english is spider plant. It’s a self seeder here with a ton of seeds in each of those green pointed needles. Where I live (southeast U.S.), once you have those flowers, they can come back on their own in the spring if you let those seeds set (don’t pull up after they look dead). Happy weekend.
Very nice pics you have… If you have some time, just visit my site and leave some comment, tnx…
Thanks for the explanation, Carver.
