Sad And Lonely

You play around all day
Not listening to what I say
Where you’re sick I have to pay
Scared you will go away

Why are you so carefree?
Unlike you I cannot drink coffee
Everytime see you at the tree
Always going there to pee

Scold you then give me cute face
Like I saw one doll at Lovely Lace
That kept singing Amazing Grace
Wait one day I go get Mace… then you’ll know

I say it’s too late to apologize…..
It’s too late….

hollla daniel! my, that was very colloquial and personal. prolly to someone close?

though it made me wonder who in particular u are referring to. Quoting yr line 7 & 8, i would immediately think of an animal - a pet. But on line 6, it bamboozled me as animals absolutely do not consume such a beverage. =)

hmm.. very enigmatic then.

ps. It’s nice to see that someone else here also does poetry. *high5*

Like I saw one doll at Lovely Lace <– why not change to “Like the doll I saw in Lovely Lace”

Hmm…
I dont sense any sadness in this poem (although u said this is sad poetry). What I felt is anger, confusion and … well, it’s better not to say here. Hoho~

Anyway, you’re scolding Singa izit? If you don’t want Singa, come gip me.. ROAR..
