PhotoHunting is back again this weekend and this time the theme is metal. Well, what I can say is that I haven’t been that actively finding shots but I will be back. The photo hunting is back into my blood. Now all I need to sort out is my work task and other activities. Dang, was supposed to go hiking up the rocky Tabur Hills today, well maybe next week.

The picture above was taken with my compact camera Casio Exilim Z750. Well, I was visiting Taiping, Perak of Peninsular Malaysia and decided to go to the museum. Looks like this was one of those old steamers they used to have during the olden years. It’s metal all right! Wonder they could preserve it for a long time, but looks like it’s starting to rust.

No no.. get someone to go oil it will ya, museum guys…… *over-exaggerated action to be taken*

• Genting Highland Shouters

Remember the ShoutOuters, the community from ShoutOut. Yes, this time a few of us are crazy enough to go up to Genting Highlands. Yes, it’s been awhile since I’ve been to Genting, though actually I was there 2 weeks ago before this trip but that was uncalled for. What time was it? 6am, left my house. Yes, Firewire was the driver that day. He drove like 4 of us up there along with him. WHo are the other 3? That’s for you all to find out. So up we go to Genting Highlands in Fifi’s car.

The way up was somewhat surprisingly misty. Well, must be the early morning rain and that contributed to the misty weather. Luckily it was daylight. I can’t believe I drove thru all those misty roads just a few weeks ago myself in the middle of the night. Well, what else did we see.

A castle along the road?? Hahaha!! Not really a castle, is more like a police quarters when driving up the road. But it was a splendid sight to behold. But but but… of course with all these shots, I am sure I can’t resist to camwhore on my own too and seeing how excited I am to go for this Genting Highlands trip with rest of the Shouters. Well, it’s not everyday I get to go up to Genting’s in a car.

• Not Easy Being Romantic

Yes, it’s me again and my controversial post about relationships. Well, you know that I like to talk about this stuffs and giving my opinions on the term relationship, but I really don’t know why some people like to instead say i was the one involved.

You know, sometimes being in love is not really hard, the problem comes when you try to be romantic. Yes, many couples have different meanings of being romantic and girls especially *psstt.. don’t kill me just yet, read on…* This is because most girls read novels and most of them are love novels. It’s evident even when I was studying in high school, some of them bring these novels to school and read them. To me, I think it’s their fantasy trying to be swept off their feet.

I am now trying to tell you being romantic doesn’t need to be practiced. It should come natural. Well, but because not everyone is a natural, I can give you some pointers that I got from eHarmony, which is an online dating site or from any other sites, but of course some of you would rather me telling you more from my personal point of view. Just a point I should point out, basically for guys, don’t get pressured at seeing what other people can do. Just be yourself and most importantly be a gentleman. DON’T go rehearsing Shakespeare poems to present when you can’t and do the extreme if you can’t afford it. It’ll be romantic to do it at least once, but by then you’ll be thinking of what other romantic stuffs to do, instead of being your natural self. If you don’t believe me, you just have to see for yourself.

If you’re just trying to be romantic to be in a relationship, you’re doing it all for the wrong purpose. This is what I call romance should not be taken lightly. Maybe due to my analysis, girls would love surprises from their boyfriends out of the blue, but constantly doing it, bores them. Well, not to say you should stop but it’s good to let them treasure the romantic feel for a longer time before the guy give them another romantic feel. Sometimes little stuffs, like buying flowers, that’s all it takes. Trust me, girls love flowers, even a single stalk sometimes can mean so much. *hint hint*

Well, basically this is just my personal opinion, well, you can give me more opinions and girls you can have your definition of romantic, maybe let the guys pick up a point or two. Well, we learn by doing this, so what say you all?

Okay, I am really confused with this title, but with my little knowledge and my weird weird mind, I try to deny that I really don’t know what it means. So then I think, why not improvise. I went and take it as I Spy something. So what did I Spy?

• I finance My Home easily

The election has ended, but life goes on. Now I have to think about what to do with my income. Sometimes I think, getting a mortgage refinance for my house is sometimes way way hard. Yeah, I have a house to pay, every month, which is kind of taxing for awhile until I finally got used to it. So part of my salary goes into there.

At least these bank I am having now are so kind to offer Fixed Rate Mortgages which can help me sort out my payment plan issues. I don’t really need to be afraid of influx of rates suddenly and with that, this helps me plan my future, my savings and my investments in case I have extra and who knows, I might even be able to invest in other stuffs.

Nowadays people think that mortgage is just a gimmick, but it’s a good way to purchase a house or a land. Well, in short, in many countries it is normal for home purchases to be funded by a mortgage. (as described by wikipedia) So to mortgage or not to mortgage your home?
