You go to office or school, college, etc then suddenly you’re being attacked by monsters. What I meant by monsters are your teachers, colleagues, clients. They suddenly bombard you with homework, work that needs to be done. I mean, come on give me a break. I just did something which require lots and lots of free time, but why am I stuck in the middle of nowhere having to do all this stuffs… WARGHHHHHH!!!!

So it dawns upon me, no matter how hard you’re good at time management, there is bound to be a time, even with perfect time management, somethings can’t be managed all the time. Why??? Imagine while you think you’re gonna finish a project in due time, something else bugs you. Sometime things just happen unexpectedly.

That’s why you see me as a happy go lucky kind of guy, always expecting the unexpected. Imagine this, so I relaxed myself by listening to Doraemon’s Theme Song… ANG ANG ANG Totemo Dai Su Ki Do ra e mon. Wheee~~~~~

Yesterday someone just asked me how to upload a file so that a client can download it. It was complicated telling that someone that one can just directly put on a hosted server and telling the client to direct copy the link from it.

Then, Driveway came along. Driveway of http://www.driveway.com is a new free web based service for online file sharing. Man… if only I found this solution earlier, I would not like that so much trouble to tell this and that. One thing bad for those not with an IT background is that when doing the manual upload and download, there’s hardly any graphical and easy click application for them to drag and drop.

But with Driveway it comes from the fact that one can use ‘edit widgets’ for shares that can be used to edit the shared documents directly with a single click from desktop instead of having to edit, save and email it back. The edit share links are even multi-user capable!

Still don’t get it? It means one can just directly accessed it via desktop instead of downloading from driveway then reuploading it again. Now that’s such a powerhorse, easier job to be done. Now what about big files. Movie files?

Unlike email system such as gmail which limits your file sizes (typically 10-20MB etc..) you can use as attachments; you can overcome that limit by using driveway’s ‘Parkit’ links for files up to 500MB in size! You can also post the ‘Parkit’ links in blogs. Now this is one way awesome feature. I can put up to 500mb. That’s HALF a GIGABYTE of files.

Things just gets ever better in online storage and file sharing. Nice…. so now I can share to you people my collections. Wheee~~~

The Malaysia International Fireworks Competition 2007 is currently underway in Malaysia. It was held in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia 2007 campaign. Speaking of which, your local photographer armed with his camera goes frolicking to that place only to be wasting his photography skills on some fireworks that are too far for his bought along lens. I wished I got a 200mm VR lens. Dang…. anyway I can’t be too fussy as I just got it. Oh ya… only the shots below are taken from my D40. I realized I had too much exposure!

I think next time I should get a proper lens and also be ready earlier so I can set up my tripod. So I still can’t take proper shots yet. Guess I need to work it out. Best I stick with my Casio Exilim for fireworks short movie clips. It’s much better that way. Looks like I learnt something by trying to take this photo. Get closer to the subject unless you have an ultra zoom lens. HAHAHA!!! So what should I shoot next?
