So back to Bukit Tabur once again. Yes…and in case you haven’t read about my other Bukit Tabur escapades, search for Bukit Tabur.

It was indeed the same kind of experience but then now it seems more and more people seems to know about this place. Well, that was when me and my group got up, we found another group of people going up and they were all like first timers except one guy. Well, of course, that time.. I was like waiting for the group to finished but seems they are taking their own sweet time or maybe cause some of them are scared of height. Well, that’s Bukit Tabur experience.Oh ya…anyway here are some rules which I would like to point out when climbing on this natural quartz mountain.

1. Do not…I repeat do not litter the place with empty bottles. They don’t decompose. (Makes me mad that I have to pick them up)

2. Please do not pluck any flowers or destroy the habitats on the hills. Especially those people who made campfire at the last hill. You guys are the dumps.

3. Try not to wear too bright a color, I found it out the hard way (bees get attracted to you).

4. Always stay in a group and don’t be a hero to go all the way on your own. If anything happens to you, no one knows. When someones lagging behind, wait for that person.

5. Things to do before going up. Pack a bottle of water (recommended 1.5 liters) and a change of clothes. Also bring some light snack. Carry a backpack and wear proper tracking shoes if you want to climb the rocky cliffs.

6. Have a guide who has been there to show the maneuver of where to step and stand during climbing sessions using the rope. (You can also employ me to be the guide HOHO)

Well that’s so far what I can sum up. Going up the hills everytime brings something new to see. Especially the previous night when it was raining. The ants and insects are more and even mushrooms growing around. I love the ants, they are kinda peculiar unlike those you see on the normal grounds. Bigger butts.. ha ha..

One thing though, my group enjoyed the most was the part when you need to use your hands to climb up the ridge. Less tiring, they said. Well indeed, the best and most untiring part is actually this part of the ridge. They hated the walking up the jungle track more than climbing. Haha.. well glad all of them enjoyed. So have this got any of you interested in climbing the hills?

Not yet, then how about some photo shooting? If you’re interested in taking photos, here’s the perfect place to take some snapshots of KLCC and also Genting Highlands (if you’re lucky that no mist or cloud was covering). We even had one photo enthusiast in our group, taking almost anything. So I then don’t waste my time and had a snapshot of him. Hahaha… I am sure he wouldn’t mind being posted cause we can’t see his face. *whistles and runs before I got pummeled*

The Super louyea shitting pose

So when will be my next trip up? Very soon. All of them can’t wait for another 2nd round.

Frasers Hill

Monday makes danielctw wants to sleep
—————————————————————————————————

Oh boy, Monday Monday. But then so?? So back to my travel logs. Where the heck I’ve been these few days? Ok, not really few days, but then 2 weeks ago, was in Frasers Hill. Yeah, and just yesterday danielctw climbed up Bukit Tabur again.

Being in Frasers Hill seems to relished my memories of being there when I was like 8 years old or maybe younger. One thing though in difference with all the Highlands I’ve been, this place sort of good to go for a one day trip. I miss those days where there was a gap gate, where vehicle goes up in one hour while those wanting to come down the gap road must wait for another hour. Well, those were those times. Now with the new road, everything has changed. The unique gap time no more has it’s uniqueness.

What the heck… so I went to Frasers. What I did there? Hmm…basically just to look back at this place where it was so fun during my younger days and of course to provide you readers a few place to visit. Well, if you’re looking for a holiday highland getaway and something much more cheaper than Cameron Highlands and quiet, this is a place to be. Condusive for camps too. If you love old style British buildings, here’s the place to check it out too.

Being in Frasers, if you’re a golf enthusiast just play golf there for a whole day. There’s a big golf course just when you reached the town area. Jungle walks are also a favourite activity around here. Oh ya, why is it called Frasers Hill, it’s a guy name Frasers who build a town here, thus the name Frasers Hill. (something like that).

Being so bored, I decided to check out one of the resort here. Shahzan Inn. Oh my, not a bad place. The meal(lunch) they provided superbly spectacular..ok ok… maybe I was hungry! 0.o But then their presentation was also not bad. Oh ya…I got it on the house. *I see jealous eyes looking at me*

I’ve got to admit, I am mightily impressed with their services. What more, their receptionist also quite cute Hehehe…. ok skip that. Well, if you’re thinking of bringing your family up here, well look no further, got a playground here. Oh and there’s an annual Bird Watching Activity every June. Got to get back to my office work now. Enjoy!! Seeing the bed photo makes me wanna take a knockout sleep first… Darn darn tired

danielctw still darn tired from yesterday’s event.

It feels good if one can expand their network of friends and bloggers around the community. So danielctw has decided to collaborate with his long time friend (yup, right back from primary school) Ichitaka to start a new blog together. Well, but then it’s still in it’s early stage. Thus really thought that maybe need some time to even know what to post about. Well, one thing good is that people can read weird thingys and some so called love 0.o issues by the forever lovey dovey Ichitaka. Ha Ha Ha *tao siu*

Nowadays lots of newspaper target the blog industry. Well, maybe it’s in my country lately that’s been the target. Anyway, one word though… Bloggers Unite! *Clap Clap* Do I hear a standing ovation??

Anyway I decided to let you guys have a glimpse of our new bloggy. Right here…

8Kuas Maybe can let you all guessed what it means? ><

Sungkai – Part II

Posted by danielctw On March - 23 - 2007

This is a continuation for the first post where I’ve been to TRAP. OK, I don’t wanna repeat what is TRAP is all about so you can read it below

TRAP – Part I

Now let’s continue the adventure. Some people just don’t believe that they can boil eggs in the hot springs. I mean it’s 100 degrees Celsius. So I have to go and get photos from one of my colleague for the egg boiling thingy. Haihz…. sorry LouYea, borrow your photos this time. Hahaha… well he was the only one with camera while we all kept our cameras in the locker when we were in the water.

The hot steaming foot reflexology walk path was also worth a try. Well, we heard of normal reflexology paths but what about hot water filled path. Oh my, the stones poking with hot water. No wonder people say it can kill germs in your body.

There’s this one photo, the guy’s not taking the normal path, painful he says. Ha Ha Ha… Well but then imagined if he just fell on the other side, OMIGOSH fried steamed human. What would have happened? I am afraid to think!

Anyway I’ll let the other photos do the talking. I’m pretty numb myself. Maybe next time one can go for a trip to Sungai Klah. Invite me if you need me to show you the way. Ha ha!

Haha…Well, today kinda busy day but also lazy for me, since today’s Friday. Yes, no work on Saturday and Sunday, but time goes by so fast.

Oh…there will be part 3 but I’m kinda beat up with the workload now. Adios.
